Answer:	The screen frame itself is made out of plastic. The product in it's entirety does have metal components such as the bendable neck, but there is no metal on the frame or on the screen. There is just one little tightening screw which holds and connects the frame to the neck. I'm not to sure about cottons and fabric, so I can't say I know that the fabric is nylon.

Answer:	it comes with pole clampso you can attach it to your mic stand. but if your using it like at your desk i would clamp on the edge of the desk and just bend it to the area where the mic is at. or just over my built in mic on my laptop. it can get in the way but gives a way better sound.

What equipment do I need to make this work? I'm very new to this, will any laptop with USB ports be enough

Answer:

The microphone should work on a laptop using the components included in the box. Connect the XLR cable to the microphone and plug the other end in to the pink socket on the USB sound card. Plug the USB cable in to your laptop. Depending on what software you are using you may need to configure the microphone input to USB in the SOUND settings under the Recording tab. Note the microphones phantom power is supplied through the USB port so you cannot plug it directly in to the computer Mic Input.

Answer:	It's more an adult than a kiddy!!!! I would give it a rating of 7 out of 10 comparing it to a kid or an adult. Other words, it isn't one you would find on a professional stage but it is not a kids either. Hope this helps.

Answer:	You will need an amp. I bought the Danelectro N10B Honey Tone Mini Amp in aqua (although they are selling it in burgundy on amazon right now) and then also a cable.. I think everything total came to about $40? At the time my kids were 5 & 6 and 9 and the younger two used it a great deal. It has a nice quality sound to it and the amp is tiny but sounds great for the price! Hope that helps! Oh and I think just because Philly George uses it for an adult purpose in a studio does not mean it can't be used for kids as well. Microphones marketed specifically to kids are notoriously poor quality, this one does the job well and has stood up to my kids' not so gentle usage very well. Good luck!
