Position to Wear

Unbuckle and loosen the straps, put the loop of the harness over your dog's head. Be sure the logo part should be up on your dog's back toward the neck. Arrange the bottom straps between your pet’s two front legs and under the belly.

Buckle to Lock

Fasten the strap buckles of the dog harness for small dogs together, and then push the red button to the locked position.

Customized Adjustment

Use the 4 adjusting points on the straps to make it larger/ smaller. When adjusted well, the upper strap should be parallel to the lower strap. You can slide them to customize your dog a perfect fit.

2-Finger Rule

Great well fitted harness with handle

Finally decided to purchase this harness and not another major brand. I'm really pleased Buddy had a habit of slipping out of his old harness when he pulled backwards with this he cant. Bought medium and it just fits on smallest setting even though he measures 48cm width.

Saluki mixes and or gray hound body types

I got this for my Saluki mix. Her body is very long and slender. First off I love the god reflective lines on it for safety. I was a little nervous about what size to get her. She was sort of in the middle of Medium and Large. Her chest was in the middle of the large and medium and her neck was in the medium size range. I ordered the large. It fits her nicely. I think I might have to tighten the straps up more, but was a little nervous that it was uncomfortable for her, but I was wrong, because she slept in it after our walk. I used both the front and back ring. The like the back ring best because she does like to nose through the leaves and the front ring stops her from exploring and turns her body back towards me which does stop a dog from pulling.

Answer:	A large fits my 120lb Rottweiler. The XL was too big for him, so it might fit your pup with everything extended fully. It really helped my Rottweiler with pulling. Try it out. You can always return it. :)

Answer:	I think it will last very long. Currently my dog is 75 lb. We ordered at the harness and he was 65 lb. He is a big chewer, and he is a tough breed as he is a bulldog. And it holds up extremely well. I am very pleased. My dog is muscular but the harness is adjustable. And it's long enough to fit a bigger dog. I would recommend it and I would say it would last a long time because of the durability. It has no tears or anything and looks as if it is brand new.

Answer:	It doesn't. My dog (husky mix) pulls even harder in a harness, almost instinctively like it was bred into him to pull or something. The only thing that prevents him from pulling is a gentle leader, which made world of difference when leash training him. Now we only use the harness if we want him to tow something, like a sled or small child.

Answer:	I’m not sure if this will be helpful to you, however, it has not chaffed my dog, but I only put it on him when we go for walks or car rides. And even then it depends on where we’re walking. I can tell you the straps have kind of a padded felt on the skin side, it’s not really thick, but it seems that would at least partially triage that issue. Not that you asked this, but, be sure to actually measure your dog to get the right size. I have a very lean, healthy 80lbs bloodhound Mix, and neither the large nor the medium fit him correctly. I bought both sizes considering his neck measurement called for medium and torso measurement called for large. That is very likely due to his odd proportions and not the harness itself, but the large does seem very large.

Answer:	Short Answer: No. This Ruffwear Front Range Harness is not meant to protect your dog from the effects of a car crash. It is not heavy duty enough for keeping your dog safe in a car crash. Ruffwear does have a special harness, a car safety seat belt for your dog called the RUFFWEAR LOAD UP HARNESS that has been crash tested and is made of tested components that will protect your dog in a car crash. My dog has an earlier version of the Ruffwear Load Up Harness which saved my dog's life when we were in a very bad accident when someone rear ended our car and totaled my minivan. Question:	What does no pull mean? What if I want this harness for my husky to pull me on my rollerblades
Answer:	I think the "no pull" refers only to the loop on the front and is used to train dogs to walk properly and heel. I think it would work fine to pull you on rollerblades by using the back loop. It is well made and would be comfortable for the dog. You can ask the seller, though, and they are quick to answer.
Question:	Will this harness fit an English bulldog? They are broad through the shoulders
Answer:	I believe a medium would fit fine. We’ve always found Bulldogs tougher than the average bread, so it’s best to check our sizing chart to be accurate
Question:	How thick is this jacket? Does it make the dog over heat? I have a small black pug and want to make sure this wont make him to hot
Answer:	The jacket has some cushion for comfort, but I wouldn't say it's thick enough to overheat a dog.
Question:	Can a dog "back out" of this harness. my 90 lb. great pyr has backed out of every no pull harness i have purchased as the straps loosen
Answer:	I'm sure it could. You can always connect the no-pull portion of the harness to your dogs collar as a back-up in case it happens. I mainly use this as a pulling harness for biking with my dog. The straps have loosed some, so I just have to readjust them periodically (once a week). I would say most harnesses with this design could probably be backed out of. Once a dog figures out they can back out, they will test every jarness you try.

• When first introducing it, make your baby happy to wear it by giving praise and treats. Then wear it around home for a while to let her/him get familiar with the new experience of wearing a harness.

2. Arrange the bottom straps between the two front legs, under the belly. Then fasten the quick release buckles.

Answer:	I am not sure. But I follow the measurements the site gave along with measuring my dog carefully and the harness fits well. Tito loves it. I had to adjust to almost the smallest dimensions but once I had it set it is just a matter of clipping it on him. I don't have to readjust. Unless he grows of course. He is 7 or 8 pounds now at 15 months.

Answer:	My dog is 10 pounds and I bought the small size. The extra small I had to send back as it was too small. A 60 pound dog would need much larger. Ask the manufacturer as they would probably know. I hope this helps.

Answer:	A large fits my 120lb Rottweiler. The XL was too big for him, so it might fit your pup with everything extended fully. It really helped my Rottweiler with pulling. Try it out. You can always return it. :)
Question:	How long will it last
Answer:	I think it will last very long. Currently my dog is 75 lb. We ordered at the harness and he was 65 lb. He is a big chewer, and he is a tough breed as he is a bulldog. And it holds up extremely well. I am very pleased. My dog is muscular but the harness is adjustable. And it's long enough to fit a bigger dog. I would recommend it and I would say it would last a long time because of the durability. It has no tears or anything and looks as if it is brand new.
Question:	how does it keep a dog from pulling
Answer:	It doesn't. My dog (husky mix) pulls even harder in a harness, almost instinctively like it was bred into him to pull or something. The only thing that prevents him from pulling is a gentle leader, which made world of difference when leash training him. Now we only use the harness if we want him to tow something, like a sled or small child.

Answer:	No.. It slips over the dogs head and latches on the sides.. I don't have to move my dogs legs at all.. I can take it off while she's sleeping..(she sleeps pretty hard)

Unbuckle the chest strap and loosen the nest strap. Slide your pup's head through the neck piece, and arrange the chest straps between the two front legs, under the chest.

FASTEN

Snap the strap buckles together.

ADJUST

To extend the neck straps, pull the neck slider away from the logo, bringing it colser to the front leash attachment ring. The above picture refers to the maximum neck position.
