User questions & answers
Question: | Do this amp drive 4 sub of precision devices pdn |
Answer: | USB is limited to 2 channels each way (total of 4 channels) and is not configurable beyond that. This, in your case, you could have two mics panned to the right and the other two to the left, or any combination thereof, but there's only ever going to be 2 distinct channels going from mixer to PC (or Mac) via USB. |
Question: | How to buy 240v input of this amp |
Answer: | No, they won't plug into this in the way *I think* you want them to. There's a USB port on the back of this, but it's for interfacing with a computer, not for plugging USB microphones into it. Side note: I have an AT2020 USB, and I like it... but to use this mixing board with three AT2020s, you would need the XLR-type interface AT2020 mic, not the USB type. (Search for "AT2020 side address" on Amazon.) |
Question: | Does it come with power supply cord |
Answer: | It depends on two things - 1: what kind of mics you have and 2: if you need all of the audio recorded into separate channels on the computer. If you have 6 mics that are XLR or need phantom power, then this will not suit your needs - this can only power 4 XLR mics. (If you have what are called dynamic mics with 1/4" plugs - or self powered condensor mics that can use 1/4" jacks - then you are fine). For the second part (about separate channels) it really depends what you want to be able to do. The USB part of this mixer records just two separate channels into the computer - the same as the left and right main output of the mixer. So if you were to use 6 mics you would have them all recorded, but all together. (Thus, if someone was too quiet, you could not just turn them up after the fact.) You can use the panning to get two completely separate tracks, but that's clearly not enough for what you're trying to do. If you want to record all 6 tracks independently you will need something more expensive. I hope this helps! |
Question: | I have rcf 18" subwoofer 1800w,so would this amp work on 8ohms |
Answer: | One possible way to use the usb mic with this mixer ( and most mixers, due to interfacing) would be to run the usb mic into a PC, change the pc settings to mic monitoring, and run the audio out from the PC back into a channel on the mixer. Currently no one manufactures a USB female input to XLR Male output audio interface, to make the mic run with the board. You also may be able to link the mixer to your PC via the on-board USB mixer interface. Through the Behringer software you should be able map the USB mic to a bus in the mixer software for output. That would prevent you from having to run audio out of the PC with microphone monitoring enabled. Let us know if you have anymore questions. Thanks Dave @ DC Music Store |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is rms of this amp |
Answer: | I emailed behringer and they said to multiply the peak power rating by .7 and that gives you the rms rating. So this amp give 2,100 watts rms at 4 ohms and 1,100 watts rms at 8 ohms |
Question: | What is the watts rms at 8ohms per channel |
Answer: | 2 x 1600 watts 8 Ohms peak |
Question: | This amplifier can run into 240v input |
Answer: | No |
Question: | Is this amp similar to the I nuke |
Answer: | Hi, It is an improvement over the I-nuke. I use the 6000's and each makes full use of a 120V power source (you can not get more than that out of anything that plugs in) at high levels. The improvements lead to better speaker protection and lower distortion. -R |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this amplifer 120v |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | how wide is it not accounting for the rack mount mounts |
Answer: | Not including the rack mounts, the case is 17" wide; but about 1/2" behind the rack mount is a set of round screw heads in the case on both side, so to be safe, I would say that width is 17.25" . |
Question: | Can I use a bass preamp to drive this amp |
Answer: | I'm using the amp in a home environment but it sounds great. Not sure how rugged it will be as a gig amp. Has inputs for RCA jack, Phone plug, and XLR, and outputs on Binding Posts and Speakon connectors. Should be good to go. Just make sure you don't overload the input. |
Question: | Bridged watts rms vs peak? Looking to hook up a big sub is the 800 watts peak or rms |
Answer: | This amp doesn't deliver 800 watts. As close as I can tell it's about 275 watts 4 ohm x 2 . So maybe around 550 watts bridged. |

Answer: | Amazon está en dólares estadounidenses pero solo enviamos en los Estados Unidos Estados BNC Electronics |
Question: | Is this amp stable into 2 ohms a channel |
Answer: | The specs specifically place a line on the table in the 2 ohm per channel column, indicating that it’s not compatible, unlike other bridged versions of the amp, so I don’t think so. Being an engineer, I believe it would probably work up to a point but I wouldn’t want to push it too hard otherwise it could screw up the output stage. Hope this helps... |
Question: | I have an inuke with dsp, can i control this nx amp with it? or do i need to download different software |
Answer: | Ok, if you're asking if the NX GUI is the same as the INuke Gui, it is the same. Hope this helps. Jeff |
Question: | Is this designed fro 120 V or 120-240 V |

Everything You Need, Nothing You Don't
The über-simple front panel controls of these amps give you all of your sound's vital signs at a glance. After flipping the MAIN switch, the POWER LED will light when the amp is ready for action. Both channels have independent gain dials as well as clip LEDs that indicate when the signal is distorted and you need to reduce the gain. There are also SIGNAL LEDs that light up when a signal is present at the input.
Panel Discussion
A panel of switches found on the back panel offers an array of cool options to apply to both channels of the EP2000 and EP4000. The Clip Limiter lets you get even more out of the amplifier without overdriving either it or your speaker system. Built-in circuitry automatically senses when the EP2000 or EP4000 is being overdriven into "clipping" and then momentarily reduces the input level to avoid clipping distortion. This all happens in a few thousandths of a second, so it's an inaudible way of avoiding audible clipping distortion. Of course, you can turn the Limiter off if you're feeling lucky.
Ultra-low frequency sounds (infrasonics) are caused by rickety stage vibrations, mic thumps and wind noise. While technically inaudible, they can cause a huge drain on amp power, potential damage to your speakers and a sludgy sound in the audible bass ranges. Both EP models feature a defeatable Low Cut Filter that chops off unwanted frequencies below 50Hz or 30Hz (depending on your PA system's capabilities).
The same panel contains the switches that allow you to put these amps to work in either stereo or bridge (mono) mode. Both the EP2000 and EP4000 can be linked to additional power amps by switching into parallel mode.
These Amps Have Guts
There's plenty of awesome features on the outside of the EP2000 and EP4000, but there's also a team of cool components on the inside helping it work its magic. They come loaded with famously reliable Toshiba/Fairchild power transistors as well as a high-current toroidal transformer for ultra-high transient response and further reliability. Independent DC and thermal overload protection on each channel automatically protects the amplifier and speakers from any show-stopping meltdowns. There's no need for fuses, giving you one fewer potential mid-gig headache.
The EP2000 and EP4000 have both XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs. Even the outputs are totally flexible, consisting of Speakon-compatible outputs and five-way binding posts. Whether you're dealing with bare wire or boutique audiophile cabling, the EP2000 and EP4000 are right at home.
The exhaust fan, visible on the back panel, is the final stage of an internal front-to-back cooling system that keeps these amps working in the mild temperatures they love, even through periods of extended use. Finally, an impact-resistant, all-steel 2U rackmount chassis helps these workhorses stand up to all the rigors of the road.
Accelerated Transient Response Delivers the Knock-Out Punch
It takes huge pulses of energy (current and voltage) to propel a woofer cone out fast enough to match a bass beat. That's called Transient Response and it's the holy grail of amp designers. By carefully selecting transistors with extremely highslew rates and optimizing other proprietary parts of our circuitry, our amps are able to react instantly to even the most demanding electronic bass impulses. If the woofers in your PA system can keep up, your audience will hear a tighter, crisper, more natural sound.
The Legend Powers On
If you read the reviews of the EP2000 and EP4000's older brothers, the EP1500 and EP2500, and it's clear that those amps are renowned not only for their performance and durability, but also their astoundingly low price tags. The EP2000 and EP4000 extend that legacy to the next level.

Question: | can you use sep. effects petals, i have a volcal harminizer effects petal, can that be hooked up to my mic |
Answer: | Yes! It gives a clean sound, easy to carry, and loud enough for medium size places. I used these for church and they were perfect. |
Question: | Can I use it on 220V |
Answer: | 600 watts !!! No way, try to compare this with another amp such as Roland keyboard amp.I own a Behringer K1800FX, rated at 180 watts, same look and physical size as this one and I would say it delivers about 80 watts at most. This kind of output rating gives me lot of doubts about the manufaturers of lower quality brands (such as Behringer, Pyle, etc...). ROLAND, FENDER don't do that. |
Question: | Can I use this as a vocal amplifier/PA |
Answer: | I know this is an old question but my answer will apply to just about any amp with a stereo link. A stereo link allows you to connect another amp. The output sends the signal to another amp and the input receives the signal from another amp. Adding another KXD12 using the stereo link would give you a total of 8 channels to work with. I can also say that this will also function as a built in effects loop because I have used it that way. |
Question: | Is this amp mainly used for keyboards or acoustic guitars? What is it best suited for |
Answer: | Yes, this amp sounds nice for that. However, if you are looking for a LOUD amp this one might not be enough. I recommend you use a preamp or boost your output signal to the KXD12 for best results. It also works good when connected to a PA system. On a side note, I have had intermittent issues with the built in effects unit and the eq sliders are a bit delicate. Overall, for the money I paid, I’ve been happy with the KXD12. |

User questions & answers
Question: | saludos es compatible con windows o con una laptops |
Answer: | I am not familiar with that particular amp. The purpose of this product is to model a wide variety of amps and pedals. It does this quite well, and it is very easy to operate both programming and using it to play (I use it on stage). I run it to a passive board and then to powered speakers. So, running it through a modeling amp isn't necessary. That being said, if you set the amp to play without effects, the sound quality will likely reflect the quality of that amp. This product will only make it sound better. |
Question: | Does this unit retain its mix settings after it powers off and back on again |
Answer: | Prolly... I think the screens are plastic... not actual glass. Mine is holding up pretty well tho... I've has it at least a year now and no scratches, but I am pretty careful with it. |
Question: | Is the Dugan enabled on this yet |
Answer: | I'm not a professional musician but friend of mine who are are very impressed with it, and believe it would work well live. mine is used mainly in a studio inviroment |
Question: | When recording will it be in separate channels |
Answer: | I ordered it, but stillI did not get it. They said that “ get it before Christmas “ but I did not get it. I bought for gift. May be I will return it. If I can not get by tomorrow. Thank you. |

X AIR XR12
The BEHRINGER X32 completely changed the game by rethinking what is possible from a digital mixer. Now, that same incredible technology has been incorporated into a small, but incredibly powerful, rack-mountable mixer that will forever change both the way you record – and the way you play live music.
The revolutionary XR12 is a powerhouse 12 input portable/rack-mountable mixer for iPad and Android tablets, and is ideally suited for both live and studio applications, thanks to its 4 MIDAS-designed mic preamps, convenient integrated Wifi module for wireless control, USB connectivity for file storage, system updates and uncompressed stereo recordings via the USB Stereo Recorder.
MIDAS – The Legend in Sound Quality
BEHRINGER is proud to incorporate MIDAS designed mic preamps for the ultimate in high-quality audio reproduction in both live and studio environments.
Built-In Tri-Mode Wifi Router
Designed for the ultimate in mobility, the XR12 comes with an integrated Wifi module for direct control of your mixer’s functions–without the need to setup and configure an external router. The XR12 gives you the freedom to focus on your mix, while allowing you to move about the venue to experience what every part of the audience is hearing. Plus you can adjust live monitor wedges from the artist’s perspective – or better yet, let them mix their own IEMs and floor monitors via their own tablets.
1. Access Point is the easiest way to connect up to 4 clients directly and concurrently (i.e, iPad, Android smartphone/tablet or laptop). This mode should have your remote control up and running in less than a minute.
2. Wifi Client allows you to add your mixer to the existing wireless network where the controlling apps and devices are connected.
3. Alternately, wired connections can be made directly to your PC, to a local area network (LAN), or when connecting to a dedicated Wifi router.
Revolutionary Auto-Mixing
When your application calls for a multiple-microphone setup, such as an onstage panel discussion, press conference or courtroom proceeding, etc., it can become a challenge to maintain so many open mics – and preserve maximum gain and priority for the moderator.
A major first for compact audio mixers, our revolutionary X AIR Gain Sharing technology can easily manage fully automated mixes with several live microphones. Based on the Dan Dugan automix system, the XR12’s gain sharing paradigm automatically controls the levels of all selected microphones in real time, without any gating artifacts or noise modulation.
This function dramatically reduces the typical feedback, studio noise and comb filtering challenges that can occur when two, or more mics are in close proximity of each another. X AIR Gain Sharing technology provides a consistent system gain structure, even when multiple speakers are talking at the same time.
4 Onboard X32 Effects Engines
Equipped with FX engines, the onboard virtual FX Rack provides access to four true-stereo (8 mono), multi-effects processors including delay, chorus, dynamics – plus the XR12 can run production-quality, true-stereo reverbs concurrently with 31-band EQ on the main and aux buses, all without the need for any additional hardware.
You can select any combination of high-end simulations of legendary studio effects, such as the Lexicon 480L and PCM70, as well as the EMT250 and Quantec QRS reverbs. Onboard processing means your computer doesn’t have to do the heavy lifting during a mixing session with DAW plugins as the XR12 has a whole studio of FX under it’s hood.
Custom-designed, and physically modelled after some of the most iconic processors, all effects run inside the low-latency environment of the X32 mix engine, ensuring flawless performance, flexible routing and the end of cable faults!
USB Connectivity and Stereo Recording
The front panel USB type-A connector makes the XR12 not only an amazingly powerful digital mixing solution, but also allows recording your live stereo tracks directly to attached USB flash media or hard drives. Dial in the perfect live mix with effects and zero-latency, while sending a dedicated stereo mix to your thumb drive for recording, or play background music in a break.
Whether you’re making rock history in the studio, or you want to capture intimate live performances – it’s never been easier to record stunning tracks with exceptional clarity.

User questions & answers
Question: | Can i drive Bose Acoustimas 5 stereo speakers with this power amp |
Answer: | The Acoustimas speaker system utilizes a built in amplifier within the bass speaker that powers the smaller satellite speakers. Essentially any power from this amplifier is filtered by the Acoustimass bass speaker before powering your smaller speakers. You would be better off exploring stereo receiver/amplifiers from Onkyo, Denon, Sony, etc, that have more features than a simple amplifier such as this. |
Question: | Can this be used as bass amplifier with a head as preamp |
Answer: | I'm guessing you are asking about a bass guitar? & yes it should be fine if the speaker "cab" is not going to ask for more than 3-400 watts? You are in the pro category & can find help from the pro's @ Sweetwater which is where I bought mine from. |
Question: | Can i plug an rca device and an xlr device in the input at the same time? can the xlr be a mic, or do i need a preamp |
Answer: | technically yes, but i wouldnt recommend it. part of the signal will go through, but it will be massively distorted and far quieter than it should be. it might also damage the amp and/or your devices plugged into it. as far as using it for a mic, you will almost certainly require a pre-amp unless youre going through an EQ or effects chain before the amp, in which case youll probably be fine. |
Question: | I have a Crown cdi1000. Each channel driving 4 x 8-ohm speakers - too complicated. Will this work in place |
Answer: | Yes |

KM750
The remarkable KM750 packs a heart-stopping 750 Watts of output power into a lightweight (18.7 lbs/8.5 kg) package, thanks to our Accelerated Transient Response (ATR) technology. Ample power (750 Watts in Bridge mode; 2 x 400 Watts @ 4 Ohms; 2 x 200 Watts @ 8 Ohms) and high-tech efficiency combine, giving you a supercharged workhorse
Accelerated Transient Response Delivers the Knockout Punch
It takes huge pulses of energy (current and voltage) to propel a woofer cone out fast enough to match a bass beat. That’s called Transient Response and it’s the holy grail of amp design. By carefully selecting transistors with extremely high slew rates and optimizing other proprietary parts of our circuitry, our amps are able to react instantly to even the most demanding electronic bass impulses. If the woofers in your PA system can keep up, your audience will hear a tighter, crisper, more natural sound.
Instead of operating relatively continuously like most power amps, the KM750 features rail tracking for effectively modulating the power supply rails with only the peaks of the input signal. This technology has revolutionized pro audio amp designs with its outstanding performance and efficiency.
Sublimely Simple Operation
The front panel controls and indicators provide your system’s vital signs at a glance. After pressing the Power button, the Power LED lights to show the amp is ready for action. All channels feature positive-detent Gain controls with Signal LEDs that light when a signal is present, as well as Clip LEDs that alert to reduce the input signal.
Just as elegant as the front, the rear panel is home to balanced XLR and ¼ " TRS, plus unbalanced ¼ " TS and RCA connections. Take your pick of professional locking speaker Outputs or touch-proof binding posts to securely connect speakers. The same panel contains the switches that put the KM750 in Mono, Stereo (two channel mode) or mono Bridge mode. Flick the Limiter On/Off switch to activate the built-in overload protection.

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this work if you run just one xlr cable to the input? will i get sound in both ears of my in ear monitors |
Answer: | 51.39 Libras If your question refers to the ancient Roman Libra... 1 pound = 1.40431074 libra |
Question: | Could i plug the p1 into a monitor mix (using a speakon -> male xlr cable) that's already powered via an amp? or would this blow things up |
Answer: | 120v |
Question: | For my monitor mix, would I come from the boards AUX channel? Or should I come from a power amplifier? Looking to not blow up my new toy |
Answer: | The Clip lights on the front relate to the output levels and their distortion of the the sound coming out of the amp. From the manual: "Should distortion occur, reduced the input level so that the CLIP LED stops lighting up." The Clip limiter switch on the back is related to the input level being fed to the amplifier and allow the amp to "automatically recognize distortion and lower amplification until distortion is reduced to a tolerable level." (also from the manual). It states that at moderate distortion it reduces the input level moderately, and at higher levels of distortion it reduces the audio level more. It seems to be weighted more to reduce the levels on the higher frequencies to protect tweeters (which DO tend to be more fragile) as opposed to woofers. Since I'm running mine in a three way system and the Behringer is only on the low end (~160 Hz and below) I have not engaged the input limiter using the back panel switches, but your application might benefit from that which is why I think they include that as a feature. |
Question: | Can i intercept some of the vocalist microphone audio and amplify for an earpiece? My vocalists needs to hear themselves but my mixer is far a way |
Answer: | It's a 2 ohm stable stereo power amplifier @ 2000 watts. It can also be bridged to mono @ a 4 ohm load. So, it sounds like it can be used in your application |
