Question:	Does a 15 inches laptop fit in this thing
Answer:	It can be squeezed into the backpack , but just barely . This bag isn’t ideal for carrying a laptop, and constantly having to stuff the laptop inside will probably wear the zipper out eventually. I’ve got my Toshiba laptop in a few times , but just ended up using my other bag that’s much larger .

Answer:	Yes it would be excellent for riding a bike. The bad is a little long, but it is not a big bag. It is fairly compact and should sit comfortably on your back

Answer:	My 9x13 inch laptop fit well in the main content area but not the "tablet" pocket of the main area. Same for my Surface 6. The tablet section is clearly meant for standard iPads. The main section would probably fit something 11x15, or similar, but the zipper is what would limit you.

Question:	how deep is the section for the laptop? I have a protective sleeve for my chromebk. How much does the laptop section take away from the other sections
Answer:	I have put a full size 15" HP in it with extra room to spare. The measurements I got are: 16 3/4" top of zipper to bottom of bag x 11 3/4" side to side x 3" front to back. The 3" measurement sort of collapses when you dont use the laptop compartment,so it doesn't take much space away from the other compartments.

Answer:	For sure. My son is in high school and this has the most interior room of any he’s ever had. It holds his laptop in its own back padded pocket, a gazillion folders and notebooks and textbooks in another main pocket, and even his basketball high tops and lunch in the third big section. Water bottle goes in side holder, and there are like 3 or 4 small zipper pockets in the front to hold alllllll the other things. It’s shocking how compact it looks from the outside too. And apparently Jansport is super popular again among teenagers; another plus. Highly recommend.

It's not particularly big so if you've got a lot of books or a few really thick ones, you'll run out of room. Also, if you load it with big, heavy books, it probably won't be comfortable, since the straps aren't padded.

Answer:	Water resistant for the laptop pocket since it has a relatively solid seal which water can't penetrate without submersion. I have been stuck in a few storms with it and laptop and everything in main pocket was perfectly dry. I don't keep anything not water resistant in other pockets so I didn't check them.

Answer:	It would probably be a very snug fit. My laptop is 15.23 x 10.19 x 1.41 and I find that it already is rather snug with it being 10.19. It will probably fit, but it would be tight.
