| Answer: | These are great lightweight stands for the money, but I would certainly not put 120 pounds on one of them. And if I did attempt it, it would be with the stand at a fairly low height. The great thing about the stands is that they are super lightweight, and I have both mine and a single sleeve with a strap for over the shoulder easy carry. The speakers I put on the stand weigh perhaps 40 pounds each, and when fully extend the stands that feels less stable than I would like. No fault of the stands, but I think you would need much heavier stands to safely anchor anything approaching 80-100 pounds. (How heavy is the speaker you want to put on one of the stands?) |

Get wedge type anchors from Menards, Home Depot, LOWE'S, etc. if memory serves correctly, the mounting holes are only about 5/16, so 4 small concrete anchors would be more than enough to hold up a speaker.
