Answer:	I don't have a direct answer to that questions, but I do want to let you know I tried to use it outside in the backyard once, and the fog dissipated VERY quickly. It might not be good for the use you are intending. The fog doesn't necessarily lay and hug the ground. You may want to use dry ice or something if you are trying to create a misty effect in the woods. Not sure what you are trying to do. In answer to your question. A regular computer backup battery would probably work. That would give you at least 30-60 minutes of life.

I've flooded a 20 x 24 foot room with just a few squirts from my fogger. It took close to 2 hours for it to totally dissipate. At one point the fog was too thick for my laser to cut through, so be careful how much you dump into a room.

Question:	Are you able to adjust the level of fog or does it only have one setting? For example, is there a dial to set only a little fog
Answer:	I'm not sure which model people who previously answered this question are referring to, but it is absolutely adjustable. On the handheld controller, there are three dials and 3 switches. One dial is for interval of timers, one is for continuous fogging with a minimum to maximum output, and one is for manual fogging with a minimum and maximum duration. The three buttons switch the timers on and off, the continuous fogging on and off and the manual fogging on and off. If you dial the output to minimum it puts out considerably less fog than maximum. If you use the remote, there is only manual on and off. The four buttons on the remote change the color, turn the strobe on and off, set the sound activated feature and lastly manual fogging.
Question:	Can you turn lights on/off or change their color
Answer:	You can turn lights on with remote (which is included) and when not using the remote or pushing buttons, the lights go out themselves. Personally, it's hard for me to change my desired colors cause it does what it wants.

Question:	Do I need to put dry ice in the machine to make the fog low lying?and what should the timer mode be set to? I dont know what the 1-900 setting means
Answer:	I am an inch shorter than you, 285, and 18.5 neck. I recently bought a FASTFIRE Cross-body Sling-style Camera Strap. I was able to adjust it so the camera sits at my hip. If this is the same length it should fit.
Question:	Is there a way to get it to stay on or automatically put out more fog without manually pressing the remote each time
Answer:	When I walk with the camera down, it is tight against me and I have not had the camera spin on me. I've had the strap for around 10 months and I wouldn't trade it for another strap. I love my RS-7.
Question:	Can you put ice in it
Answer:	It comes ready to use right out of the package. All you have to do is screw it onto the bottom of your camera. If you use a tripod a lot you may want to get the fastener that you can use with the tripod. Other than that you should be good to go
