Answer:	Short answer: yes TLDR answer: You've seen computer audio interfaces with 1/4" jacks, right? This cable, under the hood, is exactly the same thing: a USB audio interface with a 1/4" cable connected to it. The only difference is you can't unplug the cable. :) As far as the computer is concerned, you're plugging in a USB audio source. The only thing that makes this a "Rocksmith cable" is that the Rocksmith game is programmed to ignore any USB audio interfaces that don't respond with the Vendor/Product ID strings it's expecting. Sorry to ruin the magic. :)

I got it, installed the Steam, and then everywhere I looked the game said "Demo" and it was indeed - the demo. Just 3 lousy songs. I tried installing it in a different laptop and the same thing happened. I ended up returning it. At Groupon they were clueless as to what happened. To this day I don't know what went wrong...

Answer:	It's December 2016. Ubisoft did NOT include an activation key in many of its Rocksmith 2014 Remastered retail boxes. I estimate a third of its retail boxes do NOT have an activation code. You cannot use the software without this code. After contacting Ubisoft via chat, they did not help me and many others at all. Answer:	I own a Macbook Air and installed it with my USB connected disc drive from Amazon without any issues. It runs fine on there, but I would recommend keeping the charger plugged in all the time as it drains the battery quickly.

Answer:	Yes, this will get you there. There are a bunch of videos included with it starting with the absolute basics of holding and stringing the guitar. Most people don't watch many of them, like me, and just can pick it up and go from there. You can get to be pretty decent just by working through the songs. This has more than what you need to get proficient, aka able to play but not like a pro necessarily
Question:	I want to buy this bundle for Mac, but my disc drive has failed. Does the cable bundle come with a digital download option along with the disc
Answer:	You can buy Rocksmith 2014 on Steam and then buy the realtone cable of ebay or similar . Steam is a digital download store for games and and programs etc and is perfectly safe. if you find a bundle with the disc and cable for a good price grab it anyway. You can just enter the key on steam and it will download rocksmith2014 so you dont need the disc.
