User questions & answers

Question: How does this brand compare to the Mendini brand violin? Which is the better quality? Both are similar in price
Answer: I bought this violin for my daughter two years ago. She says it does not hold the tuning very well. She has to work with it before and during play. She favors her original rental violin that she owns now but love the look of the tuxedo.
Question: What accessories are included in this package? e.g. shoulder rest, row, extra string, rosin. etc
Answer: We do not ship to our international customers through Amazon. However, nearly any merchandise sold to customers in Europe would be subject to duties and taxes, including GST/VAT. We always recommend that international customers check with their local customs office, to get an estimate of how much these charges might be.

User questions & answers

Question: Hi, I want to buy this set, but I am concerned about a comment on this page thats says the strings doesnt come on the original package, is it true
Answer: Look at the shape of the fine tuners and if they look curved to fit a little ball at the end and have two little forks for the string to go through that needs a ball-ended string. We don't have a violin that uses loops specifically. You CAN fit a loop end on a fine tuner made for a ball, but you want to make sure that the fine tuner doesn't have rough or sharp edges that might cut the string. Hope this helps.
Question: would these work on stentor student 1 voilin
Answer: I don't think I've ever seen Pirastro NOT put the plastic covering to protect the string from the bridge. Every pack I've ever bought has had one.
Question: Does anyone know if these strings usually priced at $50 or are they just on a promo for
Answer: Sorry not at this time, but will look into offering a set in the future.
Question: I play classical music. If I play 3 hours everyday how often should I change these strings?thank you
Answer: if you have the string with the loop instead of the ball....one of two things....a)return and or exchange for the ball end which slides into the fine tuner....or you can use a pliers and pry open to fit tuner into loop although this is extremely hard to do....the loop ends actually are supposed to loop into the foot of the fine tuner instead of inserting ball into tail piece...text 630-641-1086 ivf you can't figure it out
