Answer:	honestly I am not sure, but I think a preamp with a graphic equalizer might work better at eliminating feedback because you would be able to notch out the problem frequency. I assume you have a K&K pickup on your acoustic instrument, as I have on my banjo. My experience is that the K&K pickup system sounds pleasant and natural but (like some other systems) is prone to feedback at high volumes. Not much of a definitive answer, but I hope it helps.

Answer:	This model has only an unbalanced 1/4" output, so if you need to plug into a PA system or mixer board you may need a DI box to convert from 1/4" unbalanced to XLR balanced. You might consider the Pure XLR preamp instead, which has both 1/4" and XLR outputs along with other features such as a phase switch.

Answer:	There is a central lever at the lower pivot point that has locking teeth. Pull the lever our to disengage the teeth and then adjust the height, then lock the teeth back into position by securing the lever. The only issue would be if you are using a keyboard less than 49 keys or so, if you lower it too much, the supports may spread too far to support a narrower keyboard/synth. This is definitely designed for bigger keyboards (61-88 keys) It works great and my daughter is now using my 70 pound stage piano in her room to practice piano whenever she wants, with headphones. Very stable and working great!
