Answer:	There is a round knob that screws off, you pull the bolt out of tbe scissored legs. Each leg has 3 holes that you can then change the bolt to, to adjust the height.

Answer:	Hello, I bought this as a versatile chair for piano and cello. It has worked great so far with me. For Cello you want your knees at a slight downward slant (not 90 degrees) so this changes from person to person, but the small adjustments should work for people of different heights.

Answer:	Mine at smallest measured 16” from floor to the base of the seat. But then you add the1.75” thickness of the seat padding which takes the overall height to 17.75” (your mentioned second spec). When you sit on it, the cushioning has a give of about .25” which then makes the overall actual working height to 17.5” if that even matters.

Question:	What is the exact width of the chair when it's collapsed? I'm trying to make sure it fits in the narrow space I plan to put it in
Answer:	With legs laying flat it is 24" long. If you screw in the 2 knobs that hold the seat open, you'd need a max of 5.5". You would need a minimum of 5.25". (I assume you're standing it up and sliding it in) The width of the seat remains the same at 12.25" Basically, folded and standing up on the legs: 24" tall, 5.5" wide, 12.25" deep.

Answer:	Height = 19 1/2 inches high; width = 15 1/2 inches wide; and depth = 12 inches from back to front (deep)

Answer:	SORRY, I can't answer that , but I can tell you it's not UNIVERSAL as I take that to mean. I think it must only be universal to the stands THEY MAKE.. It would not fit mine. It would not fit either one of two stands that I have.

Answer:	Yes, it absolutely does work. I think the most important takeaway is that this is a reasonable enough price to figure out if you actually do want to learn and stick with it. The biggest value is the 30-day membership to the Simply Piano app. I was in the same boat as you and this keyboard + app had me reading music and playing with both hands in 2 days. I played the guitar over 20 years ago, but completely forgot how to read sheet music since then. I’m back to being able to read sheet music and looking to step up to a higher quality Yamaha keyboard. Answer:	It’s padded, but not extremely soft. The bench I used (for 10+ years; prior to acquiring this bench) was a high-end piece. It had over 3” of foam layers. It was nice, but I always had back pain at the end of the night. The day after I received this bench, I put it through the ringer - an hour long solo concert. At the end of the performance, I had zero back pain. I found that this bench has just enough padding, yet, it’s firm enough to offer great support; promoting better posture. Hope this helps!

Question:	Do you have to put the seat together or does it come as shown
Answer:	You Have to place the legs on to the seat. It is a little hard, I didn’t have the strength in my hands to screw them in myself. My husband had to do it and he has already had to tighten them because they were getting loose. But I love the look of it. At the end of my bed I placed a leather box that you. Can place things in. I can’t remember what you call it. But it extends the length of my bed. The top of it matches the top of the stool.
