Answer:	It will work but you have to twist the strap 180 degrees which results in an annoying twist in the strap. It works great on a Les Paul, but on my SG that has the strap button on the back I have to twist it.

Answer:	The auto lock system is plastic.

Answer:	No leather, 100% cotton. I like this strap because of its softness but be aware it works great on guitars with the strap screw on the horn (Strat,Les Paul) of the guitar a but if the screw is on the heel (335 style), you end up with an annoying half twist on the strap.
Question:	Will this work on the jack button of an acoustic electric guitar
Answer:	no, the lock mechanism is too small to fit over the jack button of an an acoustic electric. I got one and it didn't fit.

Answer:	RMBeavers:I have my Red Guitar Savers on a Acoustic Epiphone & with a Ernie Ball strap...They are "SNUG" ,but I looked @ that as a Good Thing.Used on my Fender Tele,There is more movement but not in a bad way.I can see where the combination of the three could lead to "ZERO ROOM".I've seen strap buttons that are small.The Guitar Savers are pretty "Meaty".I've been to the Hardware store & gotten thinner/lighter rubber/plastic washers.No real cost savings(.99$ each) but thinner.Just take a Guitar Saver with you for comparison because there are lots of sizes & widths/demensions.Good Luck !

Question:	Is this strap lock and the Schaller interchangeable? If I have Schaller locks on my strap will they work with the Fender button and visa versa? Thanks
Answer:	Absolutely. ...But good luck with that. SCHALLER makes buttons with screws in about three sizes. I've only seen one of those sizes available from U.S. sellers, however. I have seen U.S. sellers selling just the buttons alone but you will likely pay almost as much as for a full set. So it kind of makes sense to spend a little more money and keep the parts you don't use as "spare parts". To really get into the supply of buttons with different sized screws, you need to buy direct from Europe. At that rate, it will probably be a lot cheaper to buy a full set from a U.S. source.
Question:	Are these chrome or nickel finish
Answer:	I tried the old one onto these new ones and the strap locks did not fit onto the new pegs that you have to use an allen wrench to screw into your guitar.

Answer:	I don't know if the issue has been fixed. I had the same problem the first time I ordered them. The issue was that the picture shown didn't match the specific model number of the locks... the model number shown was the old style. When I re-ordered, I made sure that the specific offer I ordered had the correct model number, and I got the correct model.

Question:	Anyone know if you can get just the guitar buttons themselves? I've got a couple of guitars, 1 strap, don't need to buy multiple whole sets
Answer:	Remove & replace.. these are the most secure straplocks I have ever used.. I've used them on an EB3 bass, which is an SG body.. no problem
Question:	I have the old strap locks on another guitar. Will the new strap pieces work with them
Answer:	The difference is very subtle. The buttons that go on the guitar of this "Traditional" model have a large flat top that tapers down like a cone toward the base, then there's a wider cylindrical section that stands off of the body. The Dual Design starts out smaller, gets wider, then tapers down. Both models seem to work fine with a regular strap that does not have the Straplok locking ends installed. The Dual Design will put the strap slightly closer to the body (slightly less than 1/4"). The "Original" model is still available and hasn't changed from when it was first introduced in the 1970's (pre-Dunlop). That version has a more cylindrical button on the body which will only work with a strap with the special ends. Later, there was a flush-mount model in which the entire guitar button is in the guitar in a much larger hole (if you forget your special strap with these ends, there's no hope of standing up). The Dual Design came after that which gave you a great button that worked with the locking strap as well as a regular one and was large in size to work better with a regular strap. I'm not sure why they added this model, but both the Traditional and Dual Design work really well with the locking system and with a regular strap. In either case, because the strap doesn't sit directly against your instrument's body, it won't work quite as well if you use your strap as a strain relief for your cord.

Answer:	I have them on my Alembicized 1967 Guild Starfire and they are great. The original pin on body behind the bridge was getting loose, so I went for it and it's been great. That one is inset and the pin on the back of the next is not, but still hangs very comfortably.I bet they'd go fine on a Epi Casady bass.

Answer:	I have them on 3 Taylor guitars. 314, Mini GS, and Big Baby Taylor. They work great!

Question:	Can someone please guide me on how to tie the acoustic quick release strap? (Maybe a short video
Answer:	This is quite easy. Slip the tie string underneath all 6 strings on the headstock, just above the nut. Bring the tie string underneath the headstock and then slip the clasp that the string is attached to through the loop in the end of the tie string. Now the clasp and string are attached to your guitar headstock.
Question:	This does not seem to fit on my Fender acoustic guitar. It fits on one end but not on the bottom end of my guitar. Did this happen to anybody else
Answer:	Same here. Fit on one end but not the other, though in my case it fit on the bottom and not on the top. Mind you, (this was for an Ibanez EP5/10 electric acoustic) the stud it didn't fit is in a rather strange place and is just too short for the locking end of this strap. A pity: I really like the feel and design of this strap.
Question:	Can you please tell me exactly how the strap works? I cannot find out where to put the strap? I can get one side but not the other
Answer:	This strap only works if your guitar has 2 strap buttons. One button should be near the neck, the other near/at the end of the guitar body. My only complaint with the strap is that the hard plastic of the locking ends may mar the guitar's finish. The strap works very well and makes a very secure lock to the strap buttons. But, beware of scratching the guitar's finish.
Question:	Is the locking version of this product safe with a nitrocellulose finish
Answer:	Should be quite safe. Nitrocellulose finish's are very durable. The lock mechanism on the strap is plasic so I shouldn't hurt the finish.

Answer:	I would imagine it should work on any ce guitar.
Question:	expression system 1 taylor 814 ce circa 2004. Will this strap lock work
Answer:	I believe all you need to do in your case is change the strap button to the strap lock style.
Question:	Will this work on a Yamaha A3 guitar
Answer:	If your Jack is metric, then yes. These devices Work on all A/E guitars that have a jack replacing the strap pin. Seller may know which model you need. If not Yamaha should or you could just unscrew the strap retainer nut go to a hardware store and find out the size.
Question:	Does the adapter lock spin on the guitar strap peg
Answer:	The adapter fits snugly. It doesn’t spin loosely but can be spun into position by hand fairly easily and it will pretty much stay where you leave it. Doesn’t touch the body of the guitar. Well made item, recommended.
