Answer:	Hmmm... Not sure on that. My guitar has a poly finish, but its standard foam... which I suspect gets old and thinner over time with use. If you have a relic finish, no problem! Ha. Honestly these stands are cheap, so if you are worried about the finish, buy the expensive one at sweetwater!

Question:	Is this actually, really... plywood?? if so, why does a reviewer show it's actually made of cardboard
Answer:	After putting mine together (I bought two), I accidentally stepped on one, on the lowest segment (the part that holds the lower bout of the guitar, where it touches the floor). I didn't step hard at all, really, but it was enough to sort of "bend" the wood double, so that I could easily see inside the material. It is definitely NOT any kind of plywood, nor is it cardboard. It appears to be what is called "particle wood" or "particle board." Very cheap, low quality stuff. But it has a nice-looking veneer over it, so if you don't accidentally step on it, you should be okay.

Question:	can this hold a full size acoustic bass
Answer:	Graig, not sure I would recommend for the Jag body shape. I use mine with a Les Paul, a Gibson 335, Fender Tele all fine but when I place the Strat on it I get pretty nervous. If you don't get the Strat "just right" it seems a bit unstable. Overall the stand is OK (I got it mainly because it folds nicely into on of my gear cases) but I prefer my other stands which supports neck, YMMV. Just my POV, hope it is helpful.

Answer:	I have a Ukulele and it will not fit in it. I don't think the mandolins were fit. The items would have to be as tall as a guitar. I hope that helped.
