Answer: | I think so, not absolutely sure |
Question: | Does it come with the device to attach it to a cymbal stand |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this an 8mm diameter for the threaded post |
Answer: | Yes, 8mm. |
Question: | Didnt see this mentioned in details. Just wanted to make sure. Are both parts with wing nuts adjustable |
Answer: | Yes. What they are not showing is that this is a regular style boom arm, they just have the arm portion contracted into the main tube. You pull the arm out and the lower wing is actually on a normal ratchet of a normal style boom arm. I can't remember its length- and you adjust angle and rotation of the arm at that ratchet, and of course regular tilt at the other wing. |
Question: | Does the tilter(s) have teeth, or is it smooth (infinite angle adjust)? Thanks |
Answer: | Teeth on both tilters (boom and cymbal holder). I recommend it anyway. |
Question: | Is ths a telescoping boom arm? In other words, can you slide the cymbal rod straight down into the tube |
Answer: | Yes, it can slide in ("hideaway"). |

Question: | Does this include the clamp, the boom arm, and cymbal tilt arm and felts/w nut as shown in the picture |
Answer: | As I remember, all were/are included. |
Question: | Could this hold a 14in crash |
Answer: | Definitely. I've had a 16" crash/ride (really just a crash, but whatever) on one for the last few months and it's stayed put really well |
Question: | How long is this cymbal attachment |
Answer: | It is 17 inches long. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is a manual included for assembly |
Answer: | You really don't need one. Just unfold it like a tripod. |
Question: | Does the central rod spin (the thin rod where the hihat is clamped)? i will use it with a roland vh11 and this hihat cannot spin |
Answer: | The bottom of the rod is threaded and screws into something - if you screw it in tightly enough, it will not spin, but otherwise it can loosen which will cause the rod to spin. I had this issue when I first set it up but after tightening it it seems fine... I'm sure it can loosen from playing though, so if this is a hard requirement then I would steer clera. |
Question: | Can it be used with a Roland TD 50kv pro |
Answer: | This is a stand alone hi hat stand so there is no reason why it shouldn’t work with any set. It’s a great stand! |
Question: | Can the height be adjusted? I can't seem to find a way to lower it and it's uncomfortably high |
Answer: | Yes. Loosen the wingnut on the vertical stand then use a tuning key to loosen the locking ring. You should be able to retract the top tube so the bottom high hat is no more than 28 inches from the ground. If this is still too high I suggest stop kneeling and find something to sit on. It's a good stand. |

Stack a second cymbal directly above an existing cymbal. The 6” stacker threads over an existing 8mm threaded cymbal post, and provides 4” of clearance between the top and bottom cymbals. Add another crash, splash, or china to your set up without having to add another cymbal stand.
- Threads over existing 8mm cymbal tilter
- Provides 4” of clearance between top and bottom cymbals
- Easily adds a second cymbal to most stands directly above the original
- The 6” stacker threads over an existing 8mm threaded cymbal post
User questions & answers
Question: | I'm assuming this would be good for adding a tambourine or a cowbell |
Answer: | No not really, this is good for putting a smaller cymbal about 6 inches above a larger cymbal. You want a solid rod to clamp a cow bell onto. This is a good solid cymbal stand off, but it is aluminum, and partly hollow. Clamping anything to it, and hitting what is clamped to it, might cause it to bend, and fail. |
Question: | I bought this and just received it. it is too big to screw into a standard 1/4 inch cymbal titer (pearl or blackhawk). do you have one that fits |
Answer: | PDP PDAX904 has a threaded bolt which tensions onto the cymbal stand if the threaded rod is smaller. I would suggest using it with a soft metal shim ... (brass or copper) |
Question: | Most of my cymbal mounts are 8mm threaded posts, but I have five that are smaller (4 to maybe 6mm?) threaded posts. Any cymbal stackers for those |
Answer: | I don’t believe so. I think you get what they manufacture, which is a single size. From what I can remember, 8mm is the relatively new size of threading. Are the 6mm ones you have “older”? Trying to find adapters to go between sizes is a nightmare and a half. The SC-MCA6 are definitely 8mm 1.25. I hope this helps. |
Question: | Will this give enough clearance for a 12" splash over a 20" ride to play the bell |
Answer: | Can't say for certain, but I would guess 'no.' I have an 8" splash over an 18" crash, and I wouldn't be comfortable getting to the bell of the crash. |

Question: | I wish that the gibraltar sc – bcsa came with a picture to attach to assemble stand. anything out there with the picture |
Answer: | If you enter "gibraltar sc – bcsa " in the search box of google - Hit the enter button, then select images, you will have some pictures to look at of the stacker being used. |
Question: | can i use it to mount 18" china on top of a 20" ride |
Answer: | Yes you can! I mounted an 18" Crash cymbal on top of a 20" Ride cymbal and it works perfectly! I have so many positioning options with angles and distance placement, and plenty of clearance for playing both cymbals. Just be sure to have a strong stand to put under the SC-BCSA. The SC-BCSA can support the weight if the stand is strong enough. |
Question: | [email protected] can someone send me a picture to show me how it attaches to a symbol stand |
Answer: | I will upload a picture tonight when I get home |
Question: | Is it better to use the long or the medium ratchet attachment with this stacker |
Answer: | That's completely up to you. It is a very nice stacker, very sturdy if installed correctly. I just wouldn't try to mount a huge, heavy cymbal on it, but it does very well with small to medium sizes. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I want to mount a 24" ride @ 2600g, maybe with a 10" splash off to one side. Doable |
Answer: | Probably not...they are small lightweight stands. They work well for smaller cymbals - 18" or less. Definitely not stabel enough for a 24" ride and an additional splash off the side. |
Question: | Will this take a 20in ride |
Answer: | Yes. I use it for a 20in regularly. |
Question: | Would this hold a 12x8 rack tom |
Answer: | Here's the rub.....the flat base could be an issue, but if one leg is faced directly below where the tom hangs and will get the force of each stock...maybe it will hold. Of course usually toms are mounted on heavier stands (with braced legs) or base drum mounts. Hope that helps...SZ |
