13 best fender electro acoustic guitars
Fender electro-acoustic guitars are musical instruments that combine the traditional acoustic guitar design with built-in electronics, allowing the player to amplify and shape the guitar's sound for live performances and recording. Here are some key features and information about Fender electro-acoustic guitars:
Acoustic Guitar Foundation: Fender electro-acoustic guitars are based on the design principles of traditional steel-string acoustic guitars. They feature a hollow body with a soundhole and are typically made with tonewoods like spruce, mahogany, rosewood, or maple to achieve specific tonal qualities.
Electronics: What sets Fender electro-acoustic guitars apart is their onboard electronics. These guitars are equipped with pickups, preamps, and controls that enable you to connect them to an amplifier or a sound system. The electronics can include piezo pickups, under-saddle pickups, or even microphone systems.
Versatility: Fender electro-acoustic guitars are versatile instruments suitable for a variety of musical styles and playing environments. They are commonly used in genres ranging from folk and country to rock and pop. The built-in electronics make them ideal for stage performances where amplification is necessary.
Control Options: The onboard preamp and control panel typically offer features like volume control, tone shaping (with options for bass, midrange, and treble adjustments), and sometimes a built-in tuner. These controls allow you to fine-tune your sound to suit your preferences and the musical context.
Cutaway Design: Many Fender electro-acoustic models feature a cutaway design, allowing easier access to the higher frets. This is especially useful for guitarists who want to play lead or solo parts.
Build Quality: Fender is known for its commitment to craftsmanship and quality. Their electro-acoustic guitars are built with attention to detail and using high-quality materials, ensuring good playability and durability.
Model Range: Fender offers a wide range of electro-acoustic guitar models, catering to different player preferences and budgets. You can find options from their California Series, Classic Design Series, and other lines, each with its own unique features and tonal characteristics.
Aesthetics: Fender electro-acoustic guitars often have a stylish and classic appearance, with finishes that complement their acoustic design. They maintain the iconic Fender headstock shape and may have features like inlays and bindings that add to their visual appeal.
Acoustic Tone: Even when not amplified, Fender electro-acoustic guitars produce a rich, resonant acoustic tone. You can enjoy playing them unplugged or take advantage of their electronics when you need more volume and projection.
Fender electro-acoustic guitars are popular choices among musicians who value both the acoustic and amplified aspects of their instrument. Whether you're a solo performer, a singer-songwriter, or part of a band, these guitars offer a versatile and reliable solution for your musical needs.

User questions & answers
Question: | The guitar was missing one strap button, shouldn’t there be two |
Answer: | This model, like a lot of cheaper acoustics, only has one. The easiest thing to do is tie the other end of the strap to the headstock, by the nut. Or you could have a second button installed at a guitar shop (or on your own if you're brave). |
Question: | How long is the delivery? I need it on 27 for a present |
Answer: | Probably won't make it in time now |
Question: | How hard is it to tune yourself when you first get it? (Total rookie here- wanting to start learning |
Answer: | There is a tuner. You just set it to the guitar and plink a string, then the tuner shows the tone. It’s very easy. I was a very beginner but could tune it immediately. |
Question: | What’s the size difference between kid size and this guitar. It’s for an 8 year old. Is this too big |
Answer: | Yes, it's going to be too big for most 8-year olds. I'd recommend that you go to a regular guitar store and try several out before making your decision, so you have some benchmarks to help you decide. There are 3/4 sized guitars which sound pretty decent for beginners, and also there are cutaways and double cutaways (Yamaha for example) with thinner bodies that make it easier for a child or small adult to learn. Also ask about the "scale" of the guitar. Regular scale is 25.5 inches, but slightly shorter guitars will be easier for children and small adults to play. I recommend that you buy a brand name, as well. If the guitar is well-made, the person is more likely to stay with it and end up learning to play the guitar. |

Question: | can i use snigjat guitar stand(https://www.amazon.com/dp/b07wdpwczh/ref=sr_1_39?keywords=guitar+stand) with fender fa-115 guitar |
Answer: | It’s a universal stand so it should hold the Fender FA-115 |
Question: | Is it a fender guitar? sounds like it's chinese knock off bundled with fender products |
Answer: | For a hundred bucks your not gonna get fender quality , the sound is defiantly there . I recommend changing the strings and not using the ones they send if your not a beginner. I play this guitar often down at the creek . Or just in my back yard. For the price you will not find a better guitar . With good strings it sounds better then some of the 200 and 300 dollar epiphany and Ibanez acoustics I've played |
Question: | would this be good for an 11 year old girl that has never played |
Answer: | This is a full size guitar. It depends on how big they are. May be a 3/4th size may be more suitable for a 11 year old girl. |

A bold, modern twist on traditional acoustic aesthetics, they’re eye-catchingly appealing and uniquely Fender.

New and experienced players alike will appreciate the slim mahogany neck that gives the guitar a lively tone while complementing the flame maple top. Flame Maple Top & Lacewood Back/Sides
Body Shape: Smaller than a dreadnought, concert-style bodies are built for clear articulation and optimal projection, no matter the playing style or venue.
Top Wood: Maple gives this guitar a clear, bright tone and the flame maple top—well, that gives you a flash of attitude.
Back/Sides Wood: Sounding similar to mahogany, but with bright, snappy overtones, the rich sound and fast dynamic response of lacewood makes it a great tone wood.
Fishman Electronics
Fishman Electronics assure the sound is true to the instrument’s natural voice. The preamp design has a small footprint, is easy to use and delivers reliable performance.
Modern Appointments
The modern 3+3 headstock adds a touch of traditional style to your guitar. In a particularly elegant touch, the body of this guitar is bound with stunning tortoiseshell binding.
