Answer:	To people who have not opened their bucket; you need to open it. Opening the bucket does not harm the foods' shelf life. All of the food within the bucket is in its own sealed packet. You need to open to make sure you have the entire contexts advertised and to check for damaged packets.
Question:	What kind of materials is the knife made of? Will it rust when it dropped into the water
Answer:	Items such as this can (and do) have a ten to twenty-five year shelf life IF YOU STORE THEM PROPERLY. Keep them out of direct sunlight. Avoid excessive temperatures (above 70 degrees). Don't let them freeze (55 degrees for a low). I have mine in my bedroom closet. Also, this is for unopened product. Once you open a bag... it's anyone's guess. I'd also strongly recommend a bung wrench to open the pails. Good luck.

Answer:	I read the entire label and it no where on there did it mention msg or artificial sweetners . I would suggest going to Augason Farms web site and check out the info there.

Answer:	If 1 person ate this daily for lunch and dinner at the recommended servings. I should last 45 days. (However, I do not want to mislead at all and would like to point out - these are NOT individually portioned meals. Example - the soup is in a packet that will feed more than 1 person. So you would have to store the "leftovers" in order to do what you are asking. This might fall in the parameters of your question or not - just thought I would add it.)

Answer:	The actual battery this uses is a 17500 rechargeable or alkaline, 17mm diameter x 50mm length and 3.7volt. it is the same length as a AA but bigger in diameter. In a pinch you can use a cr123a battery which is 3.6 volts as well and the same diameter however shorter. I used a syringe that I had for my kids medicine, jammed it full of aluminum foil packed it down with the syringe and then cut the outer syringe to the length that I needed to make it the size of an a AA battery and put it in after inserting the shorter CR123A battery. You need the plastic around the aluminum foil so you don't short it out. The real answer is to get a 17500 battery rechargeable or not, for it's the right battery to use.

Answer:	Not sure, most of this stuff is really stable, it's mostly bandages and gauze tape and a few survival bits. I have no idea what the shelf life of the light sticks is but I can't imagine rotating any of it any more than every 10 years...
