Answer:	I had a Technics SL-1300 hooked up to my Lifestyle 650 system. This is not a great system to attached it to, but it can be done. You will need a preamp and there is no "phono" option when adding equipment, so you will have to choose something like set-top box or digital music player in the BOSE's settings.

Answer:	On a turntable, torque is how fast the motor gets the turntable moving to the correct speed from a stopped position. This turntable has excellent torque.
