Any product with a usb out and midi advertised allows you to connect and use it with any major recording program (DAW software) on the market today - generally most OS (Windows, Mac, Linux) these days will work out of the box without installing drivers. It will translate trigger and pressure response into midi signals and whatever drum kit or other instrument patch you wish to hook into in your software will be recognized with it. Just be aware that with most midi controllers you will be manually programming which pads correspond to which instrument notes in software - they often don't work out of the box perfectly without a good deal of tinkering to make each pad correspond to the specific drum you want. But there are many guides online on how to do this. |

I had to make a stand to anchor the foot pedals. And even then, the high hat and kicker don't fire every time. But I felt I got my money's worth. I've since upgraded to a Yamaha dtx-562. But that cost about ten times as much. Have fun! :-) |

When I file a ticket, I get an email a day or so later stating that the case has been closed asking how my service was. In Garageband, it recognizes when I press the pedal, but only momentarily. If I strike the hi-hat with the pedal open and then close it, the cymbal will be choked, but only momentarily at the initial pedal depression. After that, the hi-hat remains open. I have searched the internet for solutions to no avail, either. All of the other drums trigger correctly. |

The volume gets loud & you can Bluetooth music into it. It comes with the drum sticks too. There is a plug in for headphones but to be honest the sound so far hasn’t bothered me when he in his room playing it. There was no way I was going to buy an actual set of drums for a beginner. I’m am super pleased with this purchase!!! Hope this helps!! |

| Answer: | The brain module has programmed sets within it programming. IF you are using the programmed songs section you will get such changes in order to play a certain style. Another possibility is that cross over is happening when a pad is hit very hard. The vibration may trigger a pad close to it. For any other problems I suggest you visit Yamaha's website or simply type in "drum crossover problems" and see if anyone else is having the problem. |

| Answer: | Dear Ivan, in air-drumming, you can get rebound off the palm of your hand by using a relaxed German grip (palms facing somewhat down). The rebound happens because the butt of the drumstick bounces on the fleshy part of your palm. This enables you to drum as fast as on a real drum. We explain this in a video we made about rebound. Unfortunately, it is not possible for me to place an internet link here. I encourage you to search youtube for "Aerodrums" and "rebound". |

Carlsbro CSD120

In fact, the nearly silent operation of the hi-hat control and kick drum trigger pedals are ideal for bedrooms, dorm-dwellers, apartment living, and any place mechanical noise should be kept to a minimum.
The pads themselves represent hours of exchange between the Carlsbro engineers and hordes of professional players, all with the goal of creating just the right feel. First up is the dual-zone snare pad, providing independent pad and rim triggers that can both be fired at once for added realism. Three singlezone tom pads round out the drum offerings. The crash cymbal and the ride cymbal pads feature a manual choke to keep sounds from ringing. Opening and closing the hi-hat cymbal is controlled by striking the pad and operating the foot pedal controller. The additional foot pedal operates the kick drum. The pad sensitivity and velocity response can be adjusted to taste; the crosstalk adjustment minimizes false triggers.

The Carlsbro CSD120 isn’t just one drum kit. Inside the Commander 120/130 brain are 250 diverse drum and percussion sounds arranged into 20 preset drum kits, with 10 additional kits that can be created and customized by the player. Each sound has been professionally preserved using CD-quality recording techniques. Built-in reverb adds a professional touch.
