Question:	do I have to put this chair together
Answer:	I would not recommend wearing it in salt water. I am worried it will ruin the material as it is just a foam padding and velcro straps. In addition it may get heavy and slip off if it gets wet. Sorry we could not help.
Question:	Can this be used in the shower
Answer:	No it does not rub under the arms and is not uncomfortable. I have the same problem with this one that I have had with others. No matter how tight I make it when I put it on, it works loose and has to be tightened throughout the period I am wearing it. I would like to find one that does not require me to tighten it so often.
Question:	is footrest removable
Answer:	I really don't know. I bought two types and threw them in the garbage after a week. there's no making them comfortable or workable...Junk, get some physical therapy and start doing all the back exercises you can find. for reference, I'm a highly trained mechanical engineer and know my stuff.
Question:	What is the width of the total chair
Answer:	I can but I'm pretty flexible and i had the straps in a loop so i could peel them up myself. I wouldn't recommend it though since i couldn't get it as tight or even as needed. My husband cannot so it depends. I tried just to answer your question.

Answer:	Hi Cissy, Yes you can wear it under clothing. However, there are a couple of things to consider:1. Don't wear it for along time directly on your skin for the first time.There is a very small chance of an allergic reaction to the Materials used.Always wash before first use and then progressively increase the time of wearing it.Start with 30 minutes for example, then 1 hour, then 2, then 3 etc.Once you are confident that you do not react to it you may wear it directly on your skin for longer periods.2. Answer:	Hi Chelsea,You can wear it all the time if you like but the idea is to wear it as little as possible and gradually reduce the time of wearing it. It is designed to gently pull your shoulders and constantly remind you to keep good posture yourself thus training your own muscles. Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it. I'm not sure if it can technically be used in the shower, but I would guess it would rust or be damaged being used that way. Amazon has some awesome shower chair options, I'd recommend buying one of those and transferring to that for your shower. I got one for like $20, but they have lots of options depending on what kind of shower chair that you need.
