Answer:	All I can tell you is that I use them at Home with a gaming monitor. They are not dark at all. They certainly have proven to me to be better than regular Mag reading glasses. I have what is known as Fuches disease and dry eyes. These have been great for me. I just ordered two more pair. They are very scratch resistant. the ones I have are still without any scratches but I broke one which I can glue. But I have a habit of misplacing them so I need two more pair. I hope that helps. Certainly cheaper than what you will find in the comp section at most retailers.

Answer:	I had to do the same thing. I had a friend cut through the frame and swap lenses to fit my eyes. I used clear packaging tape to keep one of the lenses from falling out. Or, use strong glue. My friend said it took him less than 15 minutes to make me 3 pairs. It can be done.
