But if you really are asking how well it corrects for spherical aberration (which is what an aplanatic lens is designed to do), it does very well, much better than other loupes I have used. The extreme edges of the lens show slight spherical aberration but only at the very edges.

Answer:	I don't know the exact length but I haven't had any issues and highly recommend buying one. I run mine from my laptop to the patient and there is plenty of cord. If you have a really long area to cover you could maybe buy a USB extension
