Answer: | Cofufu is the manufacturer. For the 330 uH I got 311 uH ESR 5.4 Ohm at 100Hz 303 uH ESR 5.4 Ohm 120 Hz 311 uH ESR 5.5 Ohm at 1kHz 290 uH ESR 6.62 Ohm at 10 kHz and 271 uH ESR 8.85 Ohm at 100kHz so depending on the frequency it goes from .25 W = I^2 * R -> .25/5.4 = I^2 = 4.629E-2 I = .215 A at 100Hz to .168 A at 100kHz. For the 1mH .127 A - .090 A for the 1 uH 1.29 A for all freq. So I guess as you go from lower to higher inductance you are able to use less current by a factor of ten. Hope that helps. Of course the inductive reactance doesn't actually dissipate any current as heat, just the equiv series resistance which appears to be a function of the inductance and a little bit of frequency |

Answer: | 1 mH = 1000 uH. The batch I received were all correct. I think it's just an issue of not printing the "micro" prefix correctly, so they used an m for whatever reason. Also, needless to say, if they were indeed millihenries, they would be much larger :-) I can't speak to your particular batch, but mine were all correct even though they were confusingly marked. |
