Answer:	That would seem to depend upon the height from step to step. I do not have un-backed stairs, thus I can give little more input than that. If I had that situation, I would get some cheap 1" material and make some short term improvised backing (depending on how many flights there are).

Question:	Will this work on stairs that have 8" spacing (between steps
Answer:	We loaded ours with two cases of water and tried to carry it up three 4 inch steps. It was like trying to drag an ornery donkey. I don't recommend it. Try a different manufacturer.

Answer:	The stairclimber will work on an open staircase, but only if you are able to lift the weight on your own and able to lean back and away from the unit as you pull it up the stair. I was able to get a 50 pound night table up a wooden open 4 step staircase and then up a fully carpeted staircase, which was quite a feat as I am an older (female) Senior.

Answer:	Heavy smaller items would be fine, but even though you can strap an item to it, I would not recommend this item for large furniture because the handles are too short. A true appliance/furniture dolly would work better in my opinion.

Answer:	The plate does sit well above the wheels. I just moved a fair size (51 pound) college dorm fridge (the kind that has a freezer compartment which is separate from the fridge compartment). This Might Max Stair Climber (and a container of multi sized bungee cords) literally saved my life! It easily went down 4 flights of stairs to get out of the dorm building and up a steep flight of concrete stairs when immediately exiting the dorm. The plate didn't sag, bend or droop and it definitely did NOT rub against the wheels. I was able to stack 3 heavy boxes of books on it without any problem. This was the best $40 I've ever spent!

Answer:	The stairs that I'm using the cart on have a 7-3/4" rise so I think it should work fine. I'm using mine to haul a 50lb. guitar amplifier up and down a flight of 15 stairs. You can't do it very quickly with that much weight on it, I pull it up one stair at a time, but it climbs the stairs just fine, and is heavy duty enough that I feel safe hauling my expensive Marshall amp with it. It is a bit clumsy going downstairs with that much weight on it, but unless you are doing it a lot, it's still better than hand carrying the amp!

Answer:	Move the dolly into postition against the object you are moving. Bring the long strap around the object and pass the strap end through both steel rings of the shorter strap. Now bring the end of the long strap back between the rings and pull in the direction of the object until the strap is snug. Make certain the tongue of the dolly is fully under the object and align the fixed ends of the straps on the squiggly bar so they are on adjacent valleys and the straps are centered to the load you are moving. Make certain the handle in the center of the dolly is turned to the right and the strap is as tight as you can make it. Now pull the handle to the left to tighten the strap really securely, this will take some effort but will make the dolly and the moveable piece one. You are now ready to move the object.

A grown man can pull about 60 kg’s weight, about 130 lbs.

When F=130 lbs., G ≈ 150 lbs.

So when you use our climbing cart to carry upstairs and downstairs, if the cargo’s weight exceed 150 lbs., please ask one more guy to help you, unless you are confident of your strength.

Installation Note: How to install the frame and the wheel axle

① Prepare the wheel axle, as well as the frame of the climb cart.



② Assemble wheel axle to the frame, and put away the four screws each side.



③ Use two monkey spanners. Firstly clamp the bottom screw with one monkey spanner



​④ Use another monkey spanner to install the screw nut on the above clockwise.

Installstion Note: How to install the large wheels

⑤ During installation, please follow the order that install these two screws ahead like this picture.



⑥ Then install the other two screws.



⑦ Before install the wheels, first put one piece of screw nut collar in the axle. And the next is wheels, then another screw nut collar.



⑧ Use monkey spanner to install the larger screw clockwise. REMEMBER not to install too tight! Or the wheels will be unable to roll.

How to extract the handle and put down the handle

After the installation above, here is how to raise the handle: Set your foot on the chassis and extract the pulling handle using both hands. (as the left picture shows)



Then when you want to put down the handle, here is how: stand besides the cart, stoop down and put your chest onto the handle of cart, and the most important of all, press the two SPRING BUTTONs using boths hands. While pressing down those spring buttons, press the handle using your chest at the same time.(as the right picture shows)

Question:	What size nut do i need for the wheel? the one i had came loose and i lost it? thank you
Answer:	Both sides have the same pseudo-nut with a cotter pin through it. I didn't disassemble my hand truck to look at it more carefully. I suggest you take off the remaining nut and cotter pin and take it to a hardware store to get a replacement. They should have something that fits, and you'll have this working again quickly. I'm not sure I understand how you managed to knock the cotter pin out and lose the nut under normal use, though. Last suggestion: contact the manufacturer who might be willing to provide a replacement. I would start with your local store first, taking in the remaining pin and possibly the axle.

Answer:	I doubt it , the stair glides holes are lined up for the magliners existing holes . So I doubt it will even come close to being adaptable unless you drill holes in the frame which I wouldn’t advise. We had a Costco 3 in 1 and the frame broke after a few months so we switched to magliner worth the money !

Answer:	It rolls very well on flat ground. Climbing the stairs is only uses back wheels. Its very sturdy but much smaller than I anticipated.
