Answer:	silver no problem...turquoise will discolor with oil...I found out the hard way with a belt buckle that got some of my leather treatment on it. As for damage from vibration, no problem since it doesn't bonch things around...it's ultra-sonic like a hum and soft high freq. vibration. I would search for info on safe liquid cleaners for turquoise....might find some Just can't be oil based.. Maybe plain water with a pinch of ? baking soda? detergent powder? I would use and kind of 'soaps'. If you have an old piece of bright turquoise, like a little stone you don't need, you could test it in whatever you decide to try. Even plain water would loosen partials around the stone but not brighten the metal a whole lot. jmo But, unless they have a way of sealing turquoise now, I know it will pick up oil stains....I haven't looked at it lately but it was looking better as time went by. Answer:	Depends on what and how dirty the object you are cleaning is. I use CLR and water for most cleaning. On silver items where patina is desired I use a little Dove. Just water will work on dusty or sticky problems but I would use detergent. Commercial jewelry cleaner I find too harsh for most uses, it strips all patina off of silver and most gold objects.

Answer:	The tank size doesn't fit common silverware. You need at lease iSonic model P4820, P4821. If your silverware has tarnish, then you'll have to use an ultrasonic silver tarnish remover as a solution. Answer:	It works very well for my diver's watch with 50 m rating and solid jewelry. Don't use on pearls, emerald, ivory, agate, and sea turtle shells. They are soft. According to the user manual. If you are not sure about your watches, there is a watch holder that can keep the watch dry and let the band get cleaned. Have even tried it on auto engine parts, but the cleaning compartment is only about 6"wx5"dx2" tall, deep.

Answer:	I would not. I clean my 300 dollar seiko watch in my ultrasonic cleaner often. But jasper, silicon dioxide , is best cleaned with warm soapy water and a little ammonia, rubbing with soft cloth or brush.

How to test if your ultrasonic cleaner generates enough cavitation?

1. Take a clean aluminum foil.

2. Fill up your ultrasonic cleaner with water.

3. Turn on Ultrasonic Cleaner.

4. Dip the foil inside the tank and keep for 3-5mins.

If the ultrasonic cavitation effectively pierces the foil to make many tiny holes and see foil pieces floating on the water, it shows the ultrasonic cleaner is working fine.
