Answer:	Depends. They are fine for 12v connections assuming you use the right size for the wire/amps. They are not waterproof, so I would not use them under the hood or anywhere exposed to moisture.

Answer:	You can take the clips off but they leave a small cut in the insulation of the wire but the pigtail wire can be easily removed and replaced

Answer:	Why would you use these on landscape wiring?? They are not good to use in wet locations. You can either strip the wire back a little fi=urther so the insulation stops at the connector, or you can slightly shave down the insulation to make it thinner so it slides partially into the end of the connector.

Answer:	it should fit fine, as the prongs and plastic are the same height as a regular fuse. are you sure your car uses atm fuses and not soemthing taller?

If the Add-A-Fuse is inserted with its ground pin in the +12V fuse panel socket, all power to the new added circuit would flow through both Add-A-Fuse fuses in series in addition to the power for the original circuit flowing through its fuse. So the original circuit fuse could be overloaded and blow without any circuit fault occurring. If the original circuit fuse blows, neither the original nor new circuit would have power.Everything would appear to work correctly with the Add-A-Fuse ground pin in the +12V socket. This is why the instructions say to test with only the new circuit fuse in place. If the new circuit does not have power, the Add-A-Fuse ground pin is in the +12V socket and must be reinserted with the Add-A-Fuse +12V pin in the +12V fuse panel socket and the Add-A-Fuse ground pin in the fuse panel ground socket (i.e., reverse the Add-A-Fuse orientation in the fuse panel).

Question:	Do these have the adhesive inside as well
Answer:	Wow, so many clueless reviews. Heat shrink can and does contain heat activated adhesive sealant. It does not affect the connection at all, only seals to prevent water intrusion on marine applications such as wiring a bilge pump. I do not know if these have it but you will see a small amount ooze out if it does.
Question:	what temperature is needed to shrink these? Will a hair blow dryer work or is heat gun needed
Answer:	Hair dryer, heat gun, lighter, mini torch all work.
Question:	Are you certified to use them at 120/127 volts
Answer:	Wire size and material determine maximum current and loss due to heat (ignore above comment). Insulation determines maximum voltage. 120 volts is American household voltage. These are designed for marine and automotive applications which are typically 12 volts, sometimes 24 volts, and rarely 48 volts or other voltage. I would verify with manufacturer what the maximum voltage the insulation can take is. I repeat, these are not designed for household use, and I have never heard of those voltages in a marine or automotive application.
Question:	What crimp tool is needed to crimp these
Answer:	Make sure to use a crimped for coated connectors. If you puncture the coating they will no longer be waterproof. If that doesn't matter the regular butt connectors are way cheaper. Use these for wet applications and marine for sure.

Question:	What is the amperage rating when rated at 240V
Answer:	Depends more on the wire size, but I would think less than the wire itself unless you mechanically twist the joint, too. Solder as the primary conductor in the joint isn't the best if the joint is likely to get heated by the current.
Question:	Do you crimp these or just twist the wires together and heat shrink them? if no crimping, how strong is it compared to crimping and heat shrinking
Answer:	You will just need to twist the wires together and heat shrink them. Solder inside the connector will melt and bond the wires together. The connection is almost as strong as crimping and heat shrinking. When heat is applied, polyolefin tubing reduces in size and adhesive flows inside the insulation, creating a strong seal
