Question:	Do you need to crimp the wire or just heat shrink to make connection
Answer:	I have the exact same frustrations trying to find out the answers to such questions. But be warned! - Why? Because "They", do indeed tend to throw answers out that will make a customer happy yet are not truthful, It turns out that vendors and even the company paying to have this type of gear mad do not "really" know the actual metals and/or alloys used. And NEVER the actual base metal or even the plating alloy type or case depth! And if it is advertized as "Mil-sec"/ It could just be false markings on the items as well. And then there is the problem with "China", where all of these are currently manufactured. China is notorious for just out-and-out lying about this as well. expect them to be substandard. So, Test them yourself. Then? Send back and write mean reviews as needed! Even that does not seem to help any longer though. Good luck! You will have more luck if going through electrical supply companies that cater mainly to the military, NASA and the like but- Just hard to pick those out!

USING INSTRUCTIONS:

① Strip wire insulation 1/3 inch on both wire ends. Insert into the solder sleeve and twist the wire strands together.

② Continuously rotate the connector when using a heat gun to apply heat evenly around the solder until it flows into the wire strands.

③ Then apply heat to the two ends of the tubing until the adhesive flows and seals the wires.

④ Remove the heat and let it cool down for use.

How to use: 

1.Strip the two wires that going to connect and select the right size of connector.

2.Thread the connector to one of the wires and then twist the two conductor together.

3.Move the connector to the middle of the conductor.

Answer:	I don’t know the exact rating but it is made for low-voltage like 12 V or 24 V connections. Not 120 V use.

Answer:	i do not see why they would not so long as you have the right size for the wire diameter and enough room to heat them without effecting other parts of the RC car.

Question:	Why cannot we get a mutikit with bloody 8 awg butt solder joins? why such an issue
Answer:	I would guess that they do not have enough solder, in the joiner, to be effective. Or there is not much call for that gauge wire, they can not be all things to all people. For that, strip the wires, place some shrink tubing on one of the wires, solder, let it cool, slide the shrink tube over, shrink it. Some times, when there is sufficient wire length, I place two different size shrink tube,. shrinking the smaller one first, letting it cool. The slide the larger one over the other.
