Answer: I do not feel this mashes the ta - tas. It is made of a soft cotton not the stretchy lycra type sports bra. I bought this after a lumpectomy and was pleased with the support along with comfort. Very soft against the incisions.

Answer: It doesn’t get in the way of the umbilical cord at all, this is one of my favorite covers I use for my newborn now almost a month old & 10lbs & still fits, finally undone the rise on the diaper. I am using the OsoCozy unbleached flats inside the covers, they work during the day & at night for us.

Question: Hows the fit for a larger newborn? First baby was almost 9lbs, expect this one will be about that
Answer: They are an all in two diaper. They can be used as a cover or you can purchase their snap in inserts to make it an all in two system. They are a PUL cover. They do not fit a chunky baby well and depending how you fold a flat they are hard to fit over your flats - the same goes for prefolds. Buttons brand and best bottoms are similar in fitting and I've heard you can use either brands inserts interchangeably. Hope that helps!
Question: Can I get away with just laying a pad-folded prefold diaper in these
Answer: I don't use the snap-in inserts with my Button covers. I use a standard cotton pre fold from green mountain diapers and just use the Button cover over it and mine don't leak at all.
Question: are these 2 in 1 diapers
Answer: Yep! Or any other insert/ prefold with the exception of microfiber alone (it can not touch the skin) 😊
