Answer:	This is the original Photon, not the Photon S. Difference between the two...Photon S has a dual lead screw for the Z axis while the Photon is single, Photon's outer case is made from metal, Photon S is plastic (door is somewhat flimsy as a result). For the difference in price, you are better off getting the Photon. You can always get the dual-leadscrew conversion kit later on, if you want to. But print quality is no different to the naked eye.

Answer:	I have yet found a resin to upgrade to the dual screw setup....I would say my most used photon has close to 5000 hours of print time and has not failed. But many print supply places carry the parts to upgrade it

Answer:	It's an Ender 3 v2 clone. Has a meanwell power supply, 2208TMC integrated stepper motor drivers. Mainboard is identical in layout to SKR MINI E3 V2.0 with the exception that it has NO heatsinks. It does have a cooling fan blowing across the main board.

But, since this is 3rd party DIY set and require you to modify the printer, therefore, it's also good for all kinds of printers if you know how to modify the extruder to fit it. Question:	My printed parts are sticking so hard to the build plate that I gouged the metal while trying to scrape the parts off. Do they make build sheets
Answer:	I had the same problem at the beginning but once you set the time correct for bottom layer exposure it will be easy to release your build from the plate you have to test with different resins and see which one is suitable for your prints
Question:	Where do I get a new resin vat for 6.0? The paint got soft and is peeling off, destroying my models, new vats aren’t even on the Qidi site
Answer:	I purchased my resin vat here at Amazon. I would also suggest that you remove the FEP from your current VAT, then lightly sand around to remove the old coating, your VAT should continue to give you good service. I had same problem, purchased new VAT, and FEP, and sanded and cleaned my old vat, all working good
Question:	Where do you get replacement lcd? 6 inches seems to not be a common replacement part
Answer:	I would email the after-sale email address. They seem to be helpful.
Question:	How long after a print finishes does the part need to be washed and cured? Is it ok to leave it in the printer until morning if finishes at night
Answer:	It depends on the type of resin. I use blends of several resin, and also use unblended resin. Normally for a water washable resin such as egeloo you rinse it in 99 percent (91 works as well) Isopropyl Alcohol for 30 seconds, then you can wash it plain water. If you are using non-washable resin, then you normally will rinse, swishing it around, and using a tooth brush to ensure that all the resin is removed. This takes about 2 minutes, or a little longer. People have left the resin print over night without incident. I don't like doing it, but it has been done before. Check out Ytube video by either uncle Jesse, or Angus over at ‎Maker's Muse. They are my go to for this types of questions.

Question:	Does it make a lot / constant noise when it is working
Answer:	There is noise from the build plate going up and down every few seconds. There are bidders on line you can find to hear it. It’s not super noisy. Be aware there are fumes off the resin, not while the lid is on but when you remove the model. Some resins are worse than others.
Question:	do these ship with a metal vat yet
Answer:	Yes. Mine came with a black metal vat.

Answer:	4.6” X 2.7” X 5.1” max. Print volume
Question:	Does this come with aluminium resin vat as standard or do we have to buy it separately
Answer:	Originally it was sold with a plastic resin vat. The company has since started shipping with aluminium. I paid around $230 for the printer and it came with a plastic vat. The company has since replaced that vat for me with the aluminium one. If you are paying more than $230 for the printer, I would assume then that it is being shipped with the aluminium vat.

Answer:	My son is 15 and he handpicked this one as a gift. He doesn’t know that I’ve purchased it, but he was very adamant that this was the best one. If the recipient is very technically inclined, I think it would be a great fit. I’ve read tons of reviews and watched several on YouTube. Once it’s properly assembled ( does seem to take some time), then operation is suitable for a beginner (again, must be very technically inclined). My son did request a different type of filament that I also purchased on Amazon, because the included roll isn’t that great. I don’t remember which one I purchased, but it was about 20.00. He also suggested getting or building a table to sit it on, as you should not sit it directly on the floor. He’s making one to put beside his desk, but I’m sure any small table would do. I’m very excited myself to see it in action, but I guess I’ll have to wait until Christmas.

Answer:	It is very straightforward, but the downloadable PDF instructions leave a lot to be desired. I highly recommend using the top-rated "how to build" video, along with the PDF. Answer:	I think octopi is one of them
Question:	Specifications state, supported materials: pla, tpu, etc. what other filament types does it support besides pla and tpu
Answer:	You're really constrained by your max temperature which is around 260 to 275 C. Functionally, I'd keep it below 250 to avoid degrading the PTFE tubing. That temperature will allow you to print most of the common materials like petg and abs on top of what is listed.
Question:	Is the printer quiet? how does the noise level compare to other 3d printers like the prusa
Answer:	I have one of these and honestly its quieter then my CR10. I measured the sound level and it was between 49-51 decibels which is the equivalent of a quiet office and that was when it was printing and its stock no upgrades to the fans or drivers this printer is nice.
Question:	Is there any difference between this Pro version and Mega S
Answer:	The Pro version has the extra laser engraving function, a better extruder, auxiliary leveling, multi-color printing and a much better silent driver.

Answer:	It has to fit in a six-inch square space. You could make cookie cutters. There's some debate, however, about using PLA printed items with food. I would read up on that.

Answer:	No this can not laser engrave. I bought the Bibo 3d printer because it sounded like it was amazing. It sits on my shelf collecting dust. The FInder 3D printer I use all the time. I have one at home and one at school that my students just love too. The finder is all put together and ready to go with a few adjustments. The Bibo you will have to put together. I would not recommended the Bibo for beginners.

Answer:	No, the spool does not fit the Finder's cartridge but you can still use Hatchbox filament by feeding from outside.
