Answer:	14" square- 29.5" high I love these, they're sturdier than others like them that I've owned. One downside- the handles rip off pretty easily. I've reinforced mine and that helps

Answer:	To open pull up one side at a time. Put one hand in the bottom of the basket to hold it down while pulling up the side of the basket . Then do the other side. Pull up on shorter sides. To close just push down one side at a time. When basket gets broken in you can push down both sides to close at once. Push down on short sides. Hope that helps.
