Answer:	There are no rubber pads on the bottom, but the plastic is smooth on the bottom (not rough). I don't ever drag it across the wood floors. I fold the arms and legs and carry it to the laundry room for storage after each use, so I haven't seen any damage to the floors.

Answer:	I think it is definitely not something you would want to travel with. Each of the two pieces are 2.5 feet long. The 3 legs on the tripod fold, but they take up about 6 inches. The arms on the top piece take up about 4 inches when folded.

Answer:	I dry sheets folded in half and wrapped around on two sides. It works well although you need to make sure you have enough clearance between the line and the surface you have mounted the line on. I have mine mounted on the corner of my side deck instead of on the ground.

Answer:	Hi Dan. These dryers are best for hanging damp items. I've dried bath towels on it, but only after they've gone through the spin cycle. It is perfect for that purpose: lightweight, fast and easy to set up, compact to store. It is not, however, designed for really heavy items. So the thick, plush bath towels, if not wrung out, might weight it down too much. You'll be able to see if the dryer is overstrained because it will start to bow. Always distribute weight as evenly as possible across the dryer and lay heavier items across more than one bar to spread out the force! We give a 25 lb weight capacity, but that again depends on how the weight is applied. Spread out, it can actually support more. Applied at a single point of laid down heavily, it can over stress the dryer. If you're looking for a hardy, hardy drier, think about upgrading to a steel variety. They cost a bit more, but that will also require less care in use. I have this one and I've used it a long time--jeans, shirts, sweat shirts, towels--the works! Even still, I make sure my clothes go through a spin cycle and that I'm spreading things out well. Hope that helps!

Question:	How do you lock the sides? I set it up but can't see how you adjust the sides for the position you want
Answer:	I do hang king sheets on this dryer using the outside lines. They do not touch the ground but I only use one line per sheet so I can't spread the sheets out all the way. The sheets end up dry but wrinkled, but wrinkling doesn't bother me since I'm not a neat freak.
Question:	Will this fit into a regularly-sized bathtub so I don't have to worry about drips
Answer:	I no longer have the original packaging of the item but I took the dryer apart and measured it in it's smallest dimensions. There are two parts. They measure 44"(112cms)long x 16"(41cms) around, and 35"(89cms) x 16"(41cms) around. Hope that helps.
Question:	Can you adjust the wings upward to form a "H"? What is the warranty
Answer:	I think the mesh has to be put on, but the rest is assembled.
Question:	How big is it when folded up
Answer:	Yes, the rack is both heavy enough and large enough to hold, probably, a couple pair of jeans. I would recommend that they be machine spun, first, as that will reduce the drying time.

Question:	Is there a trick to raising the arms? The directions state to push both buttons on the sliders at the same time, but nothing moves at all
Answer:	It does NOT have the metal loop. The first picture shown for this product is NOT correct. These are horrible, I do NOT recommend!

Answer:	Have hung mine on closet pole, shower rod, and cabinet knob. I imagine it would hang on wire shelf, but would swing readily.
Question:	What is the pole diameter
Answer:	This product does not heat. It is just a clothes drying rack. There is not a heating element.

How easy is the dryer to use?

Outdoor dryers usually open and close like an umbrella. A slide on the center post moves up and down to raise and lower the lines. Most dryers are stiff at first, and then loosen up as they are used.

Love Your Dryer More by tying clothesline into bundles on either side of the center pole. This keeps tangles to a minimum!

Can I adjust the line?

Clothesline stretches--some more than others, and new clothesline most of all!

An outdoor dryer should have adjustable lines. And it should be relatively easy to do. All Household Essentials dryers use 'shoe lace' style of line-one long line that feeds through the dryer. This spreads stretch along the entire dryer for less drag on one area.

When restringing, buy about 5 feet more clothesline than the dryer's 'drying space'. Example: 210 feet of drying space = approx. 215 feet of clothesline for restringing!

How does the dryer install?

All outdoor dryers should be installed in concrete. This is because of wind. Wind gusts can topple dryers, which are tantamount to sails when loaded up! Concrete protects the dryer, your clothing, and your property.

But a Ground Sleeve is key!

A ground sleeve is a plastic tube that goes directly into the concrete to hold the dryer's pole. This way, it's possible to take the dryer down during bad weather and over winter.

Answer:	There are 4 rods that can be adjusted to hook/attach to the "wings" of the unit.

Answer:	No, it will not. The base is too wide to fit in a standard bathtub. It does fit in an oversized whirlpool style tub.
Question:	For clarification, is this for just one or a 3-pack? The size is confusing. Thank you
Answer:	No, the wings are hinged in the center (making a v-shape) and in addition have a sort of "limiter" that prevents a tight angle between the wings. The tightest angle you can make between the wings is about 135 degrees (_/, \_ or any rotation in between is the tightest angle). At this tightest angle, the length of the unit is about 56 inches. If you let one wing down completely (resting on the legs, unusable) you can probably put the other wing straight up.
Question:	Can you easily take the feet off so the rack is flat for storage
Answer:	It's stored in my garage (leaving soon when my daughter moves out LOL)...it's approx 41 1/2" by 25 1/2" and maybe 4" deep (at it's widest) when folded. It's behind some other things so the 4" part is a guess a pretty good guesstimate I think. She really likes it.

Answer:	There should be one or 2 ties that hold the upper structure down during shipping. They will be the same color as the line so it's a bit hard to see. That is most likely what is causing you difficulty in opening the unit.
