Answer:	No. Parts of it are, like the two swing arms at the top will fold inwards, and each of the flat-drying shelves can be dropped into the down position, however, the overall height, base, and the central vertical poles all remain as is and do not collapse. Having the ability to fold-in those parts makes it easier to store in narrow areas, but you still need the height of the unit to fit.

Answer:	China.. the parts in the product i received were the incorrect size and it would not assemble

Answer:	It has a list of parts. It uses numbers to differentiate the pieces, but it takes some time to figure out how it goes together. Once my husband figured out how to do it, he was able to continue with the assembly. If you do not have patience to put this thing together, don't bother with it. Answer:	There are no instructions...it unfolds then folds together for easy storage. If it is in one piece you lift it up like an accordion and then latch the top to the edge and it locks it.

Answer:	Hi Dan. These dryers are best for hanging damp items. I've dried bath towels on it, but only after they've gone through the spin cycle. It is perfect for that purpose: lightweight, fast and easy to set up, compact to store. It is not, however, designed for really heavy items. So the thick, plush bath towels, if not wrung out, might weight it down too much. You'll be able to see if the dryer is overstrained because it will start to bow. Always distribute weight as evenly as possible across the dryer and lay heavier items across more than one bar to spread out the force! We give a 25 lb weight capacity, but that again depends on how the weight is applied. Spread out, it can actually support more. Applied at a single point of laid down heavily, it can over stress the dryer. If you're looking for a hardy, hardy drier, think about upgrading to a steel variety. They cost a bit more, but that will also require less care in use. I have this one and I've used it a long time--jeans, shirts, sweat shirts, towels--the works! Even still, I make sure my clothes go through a spin cycle and that I'm spreading things out well. Hope that helps!

Answer:	The wall brackets are 8 3/4" long by 1 1/2' wide. The screw holes are 32" apart but the rack is 34" wide. We mounted ours on a 1x12" (1 X 11 1/2") board before screwing to the wall for more stability. This rack is very sturdy and holds a lot of laundry. I hope this is helpful.

Answer:	I don't think it would. As long as you don't spray the ends of the arms that are attached to the plastic base. This might cause the arms to bind where they swivel.

Answer:	I don’t understand what you are saying. If you are talking about the space of the piece that holds the black piece to your latter if should adjust to your latter. I found that if you put the clothes dryer between the steps it will not hold with clothes on the dryer. You have to tighten the black part above the step. If this doesn’t work call the company.

Question:	Can the standard plastic hangers fit in the holes
Answer:	wooden dowel from the hardware store would probably be cheap and easy
Question:	What are the dimensions of the base
Answer:	The one I bought is 36" tall, 28" wide, 13" deep.
Question:	Does the base collapse for easy storage when not in use? I want to be able to put it in a cupboard or behind a door to get it out of view
Answer:	@Walter OBrien: Definitely not aluminum. Mine rusted through at the joint between the white paint and the black plastic end bits.
Question:	When the center pole is NOT expanded at all, how tall is it
Answer:	I believe it is metal because a magnet will adhere to the rods. I have not had any rusting problems. It seems very durable, I use it nearly daily and really like this rack.
