Answer:	Spouse is over 6 ft tall, and he looks like a clown sitting in a child's chair. It's not a very big chair at all. The max weight capacity is 300 LBS, but honestly I'm half of that and after owning the chair just a few weeks it's already falling apart. Avoid it!

Question:	Is the seat height adjustable
Answer:	We remodeled our master bath and put this in the wall of a 5' X 5' alcove just outside the shower entrance. Wanted something that provided the appropriate ambiance in the bathroom (love the different flame settings) and heat in the winter as needed. It produces the perfect amount of heat for keeping you warm while you dry off (at adjustable settings) and keeps the entire bathroom comfortable (which is about 12' X 15'). Not sure how to evaluate the temperature other than to say it's probably 90 degrees when it's on high in the alcove (don't have a thermometer in the bathroom). This unit would be hard pressed to keep 450 SQ FT heated at a "toasty" level. We absolutely love this unit for the space sizes that we have in the alcove and in the bathroom overall.

Answer:	The log can can be removed and replaced with stones. However, you will have 4-5 small holes at the bottom of the reflective screen but if you fill it with enough pebbles and it covers the holes, it would work perfectly fine.

Answer:	Not to sure about sides, and bottom, but top heat outlet gets very hot. I was surprised by required clearances myself, as it does not clearly state it can not be mounted in a frame. In fact appears to show it can. We were not happy with this. Would not buy the unit if you want a clean flat look.

Question:	Does this chair rock or does it only recline
Answer:	This chair DOES rock as well as recline. I found that the height adjustment lever doubles as the rocking lock. If you pull the lever out, it unlocks the chair to be able to rock.
Question:	how long does the chair last
Answer:	I’ve had mine for about a year now. I’m 175lbs (much less than the 300 advertised), use the chair everyday for 5+ hours, and just last night it snapped in the center and the whole top half flew off. To add, the stuffing where your butt sits tears off fairly quickly and I had resorted to adding my own cushions. So short answer: About a year with daily use.

Answer:	it is fairly thick. I've had it for a few months and it has not felt worn down. It is a pretty good chair so making it your wife could seem reasonable if you're into that.
