Your food MIGHT stay maybe luke warm, if its only in that iced environment for a little while. Otherwise I would deduce that the Packit would win out and cool everything...even in a regular lunch box the food in the thermos isn't piping hot after hours of sitting. | Answer: | They are very similar. Have the same capacity and work the same way. The shapes are a bit different - the foogo is a little bit taller, top is thicker, gasket is thicker bottom and top are rubberized plastic that doesn't slip. The inside is smooth stainless steel. The funtainer top and bottom are plastic and slippery, and you can see inside where it's been welded. Other than that the difference is in the characters/colors you get. The Foogo seems better build and better quality - unless you really want the specific characters that the Funtainer comes with, I'd go with the Foogo if prices are similar, or even if Foogo is a little more expensive. Haven't tested performance exactly but seems similar. |
