Answer:	I don't know exactly how many ounces each section can hold but it is a very hefty portion of food. I put salad with a small container of dressing in the largest section, a very large helping of chicken salad and a generous portion of fruit in the other two sections. I also added a croissant in a bag on top and everything fit. My guests appetites were satiated. No one left hungry. I like these much better than the white take out boxes that are available everywhere. You really can't go wrong in choosing these.

Answer:	If you're making small personal sized cakes you should use the 1-Lb. If you'd like to make more of a standard loaf I then you should you the 2-Lb. Whichever size you decide to go with I suggest lining the pans with parchment/wax paper to ensure the cakes come out of the pan easily.
