Question:	I just want a blanket to lay between my microplush blanket & bedspread to warm my bed before climbing into it. Will it live up to that purpose
Answer:	It does not generate heat, so it won't warm things up. From my experience it does a good job preventing heat transfer from one side to the other, so if your bed gets cold from the cold air and you climb beneath it, it would feel warm. If your bed gets cold from coldness that travels from your floor, and you lay on top of it, it would feel warmer than before too.
Question:	Does it shed all over the house like you adopted a long haired cat
Answer:	This is a more recent answer for those who might wonder if the blanket has changed since the other answers. This blanket doesn't shed at all! I had a microfiber blanket years ago that shed all over the place and it was terrible. This one hasn't shed a single bit. Not even when I tried it on my husband's x-long twin bed, to see if it was long enough. ( It was.) I didn't even get much lint when I washed it. I have two of them, bought in December of 2019 and I highly recommend them.
Question:	Is this blanket stitched around all edges
Answer:	Yes, it has a nice soft completely stitched border and it lays flat. It is a lovely blanket and much warmer than it looks. When we need another blanket I will order the same one again.
Question:	Does this blanket hold up well in the laundry
Answer:	A friend gave me the grey as a Xmas gift and there were dark streaks on the blanket when I took it out of the dryer. Washed two more times and streaks won’t come out. And I did follow the washing instructions. It now looks like crap after a month but it keeps me warm.

Answer:	I’m Prime, so I didn’t pay fir the shipping. Therefore I didn’t notice the shipping weight versus the item weight. I have ordered this blanket twice now. It’s the best blanket I’ve used thus far.

Answer:	If it was a true Korean mink blanket it would not shed & would leave almost nothing in your dryer lint trap. My husband bought a true 2-ply one in Korea in the late 80's & we still use it. We have bought others stateside for family members & have to really search & research for quality ones that are 2 ply & not shoddily made.
