Answer:	You can extend them till 9 inches I believe.

Answer:	I used mine right out of the box. You can use cooking spray to keep foods from sticking. When I cook salmon burges that's what I do. Cooking a good marble steak will also help to season the grill plates.

Question:	The size I ordered is way too small. What should I do
Answer:	When I was looking for a replacement grate, I was disappointed at the information given on the Amazon site. My goal was to replace an infared grate with a conventional one. It took 2 grates of different measurements combined to cover the space on my grill. I went to charbroil.com and entered the part number (shown at Amazon) to get the measurements. There it says: measures approximately 18.42"L x 7.75"W That was accurate!

Question:	Do these work for termite fumigation
Answer:	I used them to hold the igniters in place when it would not snap in correctly.
Question:	What is in my cart
Answer:	I believe they will. The cross overs were a little too long for my char-broil, I had to cut them down apprx 1/2". They work well but my tubes and crossovers didn't last a year. Both just collapsed on themselves. No salvaging them. So if you just want to get another year out of your grill, these work fine. But they are pretty cheap, in price and material.
