Answer:	It should plump up to about double in about 12 minutes when you add a cup of hot water, that has been my experience.

Answer:	I saw on an ad somewhere that they stay good for at least 10 months after can is opened. I personally measure out 3 ounces which is a good serving for two and put them in a food saver bag. They will last a long time that way. The can holds about 8 two person servings if you use approx 3 dry weight ounces in each package. I love these things rehydrated, browned on one side, flipped over and several eggs cracked on top as the bottom half browns. A little ketchup and it is a breakfast feast to power you through any kind of activity.

Answer:	There isn't an expiration date on the pouches. The plastic is thick and they have the zip lock on them. Another reviewer said that Harmony House Web site stated that the dried food is good for one to two years. Mine will never last that long because I'm having way too much fun cooking with it. Question:	How many oxygen absorbers should i use in one full mylar bag
Answer:	There is NOTHING special about the salt itself. The packaging is done with a double sealed lid, BPA free container and oxygen packets & controlled moisture environment to avoid clumping. + Packaged with love from Augason Farms. :) Hope that helps but the simple answer is - If you buy salt at $20 (after online search for salt) > A bucket/lid for $4 > Oxygen Packets $? > and shipping on 40lbs $Astronomical. You end up with current cost.

Question:	What is the difference between the cc’s?? will just do the largest ccs be detrimental? or just overkill
Answer:	I think once you cut the top of the bag open (the portion which is sealed) you can then fold over the top again and re-seal. That's what I have always read about mylar bags but have never had to do so myself.

Answer:	I think the ziplock version is only for after you open the heat seal. I don't thing any ziplock could be used for long term storage

Answer:	No. They are wrapped together in a vacuumed bag. My lovely wife and I used a vacuum sealer to store the rest of the oxygen absorbers, once we took out what we needed to use.

Answer:	To answer your question: "I'm concerned about using pthalates with food. Is the mylar in contact with the food stored? What is the composition of the foil liner? Thanks. Pam". Mylar is certified by the FDA for food storage and is used in many of the products we consume daily. I personally do not see a danger in using this product as it is used with dry goods which would limit the amount of absorption of any chemicals present in the bag itself. My food does come in direct contact with the mylar bag. I would describe the consistency of the bag as a thick metalized plastic.

Question:	how do you seal these bags
Answer:	The number of ccs is determined by the size of the container. For example, a quart jar uses 100cc, and a gallon uses 400cc.
Question:	How many pounds of rice can each bag hold
Answer:	I reseal my bags because they get hard fairly quickly. I've had sealed bags for a year that are still good. I buy in bulk. I wouldn't trust storing them in just the clear bags they come in because over time air can get in. I store my original sealed bags of o2 absorbers in either jars or a sealed Mylar bag.
Question:	Are the oxygen absorption packets all sealed in one bag or are they divided into separate bags so they do not have to be used all at once
Answer:	2 Liter plastic bottles will not protect from oxygen passthrough in long term food storage scenarios. You might consider a container with less oxygen passthrough. Glass or mylar bags. 300cc bags are recommended for a gallon so a 200cc bag is likely a better fit for a 2 liter bottle.
Question:	Can these be used instead of regular vaccum plastic storage food bags
Answer:	I used one O2 packet in 1L bag(it was 2000cc oxygen packet).It's been almost 8 months now.still holding up pretty good.
