Answer:	The opening wheel (not really a blade) does NOT touch the contents in the can. It only contacts the outside edge of the can rim. So the food is not contaminated. Sometimes, some of the food leaks out and gets of the wheel. I use a small brush dipped in warm dish water to clean the wheel. A tooth brush works great.

Answer:	Imagine getting something at the store where the package is hard plastic. You run to get scissors to cut through the package but with some effort, you still can't stretch it open without cutting further.. You then cut through horizontally from one end to the other and are trying to pry open the packaging and you cut yourself with a fountain of blood flowing out of your cut fingers. Still not frustrated?"Frustration-Free Packaging" is VERY straightforward packaging which makes opening said product(s) VERY seamless, is friendly to the environment by being recyclable, and is simply a no-brainer to open. This type of packaging comes cheaper because it is usually cheaper to manufacture a simple cardboard box/envelope (ordered in volume) versus the annoying plastic packaging or needlessly involved boxes that serve no useful function (i.e. complicated designs come at a cost).Some personal opinions:- I choose frustration-free regardless of price because of the ease of use when it comes to opening the items.- They're in some cases more reliable than the manufacturer's packaging being crammed into a box with bags of air and wiggle room in part due to shock sensitivity.- I've been cut before trying to open retail-packaged, clamshell packaging (the plastic that usually gets cut with scissors). Answer:	I would not recommend this product for any use. I used it 3-4 times with regular sized can and it worked poorly at best. Next time tried to use and the brand new Duracell batteries about a month later and it was not able to open anything. Wish I had returned it right off because then I found it was too late to return and I'm just out the money I paid for nothing useful. It only uses batteries and nothing "professional" about it.

Answer:	I've only used it for family sized cans, but it's tall enough to open large cans. However, I'm not sure if a commercial sized cans would fit.

I purchased a PowerLix can opener from Amazon and it is dishwasher safe and I have had it in the dishwasher several times. Look at this can opener if you want to put it in the dishwasher.

Answer:	It is not capable of opening a jar lid as in twisting it off. I'm guessing that if you wanted to open a mason jar by cutting the lid like the top of a can then it may work, but then the lid would no longer be reusable.

Question:	How much oil does the measuring spoon hold
Answer:	With the cover on, it is 14" high. The diameter is 6.5". It you take the cover off and store it in a cabinet, the height is 9.5".
Question:	is it striaght current or transformer
Answer:	I'm not sure about the plastic chute, but the inside of the container is metal. This is where the heating occurs and popcorn is placed. I'm assuming that the only area that is plastic and may contain BPA is the plastic top, but the popcorn only touches it for a brief second as it descends the chute into your bowl. I'm sure there is very little exposure to BPA if the plastic even contains it. Question:	Does this make the room it's in smell like popcorn/oil
Answer:	Currently, there are six for sale on Ebay which were made in the USA, including the same model I use (still) to make great popcorn, which I bought in 1996; made in Eau Claire, WI by Presto Industries. Ah...the good ol' days, when we kept manufacturing here, before NAFTA and "China, Most Favored Nation Status" took hold. Ugh.
Question:	what comes with it
Answer:	We have been using this popcorn popper for years to roast our coffee. For us, the popper lasts 9-12 months. Because it runs so much hotter (and longer) than with popcorn, the fan and mechanical pieces wear out faster. You can tell when the popper is near the end of its life when you have a hard time keeping all the beans a consistent roast. After years of using this model (and 3-4 poppers) we've become experts. Everything else people say about roasting beans is true as well. Do it outside, don't leave it alone and cool the beans quickly. Obviously we love this popper for our bean roasting since we keep buying new ones when it wears out. We figure at the rate we replace them, it will take another 3-4 years to approach the cost of a single purpose "coffee roaster". So it is a great cost alternative and at this price, a no-brainer.
