Answer:	I just received this mirror and it is absolutely deceiving. I have one with two buttons, one for defogger and the other for brightness. I was under the impression that the brightness button when touched will also shut the light ON/OFF as specified in the description. Especially since It comes with a cord to be plugged behind the mirror. This however doesn’t work that way. The button only changes the brightness but does not turn it on or off. So right now I have the mirror plugged into an outlet behind it and no way of turning the light off. It’s stuck on. So in conclusion it has to be hardwired into a wall switch to be turned off.

Answer:	It utilizes a metallic wire as the heating element. There are reflective plates onto which the metallic wire is mounted with spacers. This toaster browns extremely evenly no matter what size bread you are toasting. If you will not be toasting over sized loafs of bread or pastries, I would suggest getting the smaller sized unit. The toast slots are a bit shorter but they are the same width to accommodate thick slices. The smaller unit is almost $100 cheaper as well. All in all, you will not be disappointed in the purchase of either size of this toaster. A great product that will also reward you with numerous compliments as well.

I'd take a damp soapy rag to the outside if needed, but never get it really wet or put it into water. Answer:	I think they are made in the USA. The quality of the ones I bought a few months ago are not the same as the ones I bought in the 80's. They tend to loose sharpness and they are not as solid as the older knives. I am not totally pleased with the knives.

Answer:	It has two coils toward the bottom, one on each side, that toast the bread. I've had mine a few weeks and it works great. We love it.

Answer:	There are 2 panes of glass. The outer one remains cool to the touch. The inner one has a latch on the bottom, can be removed and cleaned that way. However, after owning this for about 3 months now, the inner window is still clean in mine.

Answer:	Dear Palmiter, Sorry not to reply sooner. I got this toaster foremost because I needed one. I picked this one for several reasons. The price is very good. It has a very narrow, sleek profile so it has a small footprint on my countertop. (The small footprint is important to me. I was very disappointed to discover that so few companies make new toasters with this feature anymore. There were a lot more choices when I bought my previous toaster about 10 years ago.) This one has a single extra long and extra wide slot that handles artisan breads plus other weirder things I like to reheat - like egg rolls, pizza slices, etc.. It has a window to see if something is burning, it has a cool touch surface, it is easy to clean, and it has the extra pop-up device to raise smaller pieces high enough to get them out safely. It also came in red (although the red is more of an orange red, not a true apple red.) I liked it so much after trying it out, that I bought another one and have set it back for when this one finally dies. The only down side is that sometimes I have to flip some breads during toasting to get even browning. (The best toaster I've ever seen for making the "perfect" toast is a $10.00 Proctor Silex from a "dollar" store that I got for my daughter's first apartment in 2012. It browns perfectly, but only has the 2 narrow slots and tips over easily.) Hope this helps.
