Answer:	I purchased this slicer just prior to the beginning of the the COVID19 pandemic, and with the shelter in place guidelines, I have put this brand new unit to the test of many slices. It's function is excellent for my household. I have sliced corn beef, swiss cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, whole loaves of bread and many other food items with ease and no hiccups. I have slice carrots thin enough to eat these slices in place of fried potato chips....great! I have not tried to slice frozen meat but did with frozen bread. As far of the number of watts, I will defer this to the manufacturer. It is strong enough for household usage. The gears are plastic and I see no wear after several months of almost daily usage. I did initially did spray some WD-40 into the thickness adjusting knob since it was sticking when I got it. It works smoothly now. I also added some lubricant (I used petroleum jelly) on the plastic gears to prevent premature wear. Answer:	It is a heavier ball, more to me for chewing. We have a few different types of the Goughnut products here. We have two dogs, 50# and 15#. The 50# would eat through every single toy bought until I found Goughnuts. If it is a chewer, good luck on these being gnawed to pieces. LoL Our dogs loved them. I guess it really depends on the type of dog because our little one would drag them all out and chew. She tries to take them away from the big dog. They are heavy and diffidently for chewers. Answer:	We apologize for the confusion on our Virtually Indestructible Ball. There is no weak spot on our ball, I cannot explain that comment. One of our vendors did sell a version of the 10" size Virtually Indestructible Ball which has a hole that contains a threaded plug. The purpose of this plug is so that you can remove the plug and fill the ball with water or stones to make it wobble. The inherent problem of course is that a dog can get his teeth around that hole and chew. However, that vendor no longer sells on Amazon. Answer:	I have 5 dogs, 2 Staffies, one Pit Bull and a pit mix, as well as a blue heeler/min pin mix, ranging from around 35 pounds up to 65 pounds. ALL of them just adore this ball, and they all love to catch it mid air when I throw it. Best ball I've ever gotten for them, and 3 of them are super power chewers, although they haven't been able to destroy this one yet. They have the sticks and rings for that! The ball isn't really all that heavy, and if you consider most dogs will carry all kinds of other things around that weigh much more than this without a whimper, the weight probably won't be an issue. The size is roughly 3" diameter, and should be fine, unless your dog has a very large mouth, as one of my Staffy girls does, so I supervise her while she plays with it. All of the Goughnuts balls are the same size, as far as I know, and they vary by formula (this one is the toughest, so heavier than the others), some tougher than the others. The black with yellow dot is the toughest. Great toys (my pups have several of the sticks, the Maxx ring, the tug, and 2 of the balls), and the Goughnuts guarantee is the best in the industry. I've replaced several toys already, requesting upgrades to the tougher version of a few of the toys, and always the exchange is right around a week. Great company and wonderful customer service. I love these toys, almost as much as my dogs do. :-)

Answer:	After I use mine I prop it up on it's back and let it drain while it's hot. After a few uses it's never failed to drip oil out the back bottom on the napkin so that shows oil gets into the bottom somehow. Thru the hinge area I would guess as you can see wires inside if you look from the back of the hinge which means it is open to the inside. I worry about the top not heating as that's one of the complaint's I'm starting to hear. .
Question:	why are my waffles coming out soft like pancakes
Answer:	First, I need to know if you are referring to regular waffles or the trending chaffles. I will answer both waffles and chaffles. Waffle batter needs to have oil added to the batter. This allows the batter to crisp on the outside. Also, they need to cook for3 to 4 minutes. Cook too long and they will burn. For chaffles the oil is in the cheese. I simply use 1 egg, beaten well, then add 1/2 cup of cheese. Again mix well. Using 1/4 cup mix put into preheated waffle iron. Cook until light goes off. Chaffle should be lightly crisp. Enjoy! Remember, Chaffles are not made with waffle batter, they don't get as crisp as waffles. You might try putting a bit of cheese on the waffle iron, then put the egg cheese mixture, the a bit more cheese...then bake. These will be crisper because of the additional cheese. If you use a pancake mix, just add oil and bake in the waffle iron. Hope this helps!

Answer:	My brother's dog is the same way with chewing (silver lab) and these seem to be holding up. The smaller of the two balls is showing more signs of destruction, but is still usable as a toy/ball. Answer:	The heating elements are built into the plates. And they are heavy (weight wise) too. I'd also say they are solid for good thermal conduction as air is not as good conduction of heat as is a solid internal surface would be. Each is labeled as to which side it is. I hand wash mine when necessary. They are very easy to clean with just a damp wet cloth with out any soap. Just make sure you have waited until they have totally cooled. I give them at least 45 min. Even thought the manual says 30 min.
Question:	Does it come with the waffle plates
Answer:	If you are asking about the GR-3000WS, no this does not have waffle plates.I believe the reason for this is the heating elements are in the plates themselves. Its what makes this model vastly superior to the other models.
Question:	Are the removable plates dishwasher safe
Answer:	My first thought, this is a nice appliance and replacement plates are expensive but may not be available indefinitely so take care of them. You can dishwasher them but why, scrape the plates with the provided scrapper, then wipe with paper towels. Dishwasher soap is caustic stuff and will shorten the life of none stainless steel parts. Instead of the dishwasher put these plates in sink with hot soapy water and before long what ever was on the plates can easily be washed off with a blue "Scotch Bright" brand scrubby--never use the green one.
