Question:	How long can i keep the generator running continuously? (westinghouse wgen
Answer:	The generator will run for about 3.6 hours at full 1600 watt load, the 12V output max output is 100 watts. Probably over 24 hours. I don't think the load on the 12V plug would not make much difference from just letting it idle with not load. 100watts is about 1/8HP and it has a 2HP engine.
Question:	Why oh why can't this be shipped to alaska? we're the ones that need generators
Answer:	I personally would use Shell Rotella. I burned up a couple of Built-rite 4 stroke weed eater motors on Mobil 1 within a year. I am now on year 5 on the 3rd one I bought with Rotellla oil. Run it in my 4 stroke motorized bicycle too. Still runs like new with 15,000 miles on it. I think some those synthetics have high heat problems when these air cooled motors are shrouded. Rotella had better specs, that's why I switched.
Question:	Is the 50 amp 120/240V 14–50r transfer switch capable or can you only use the 30r? It says 50 amp transfer switch ready on the brochure
Answer:	I have the 1700/2000 watt Wen 56203i inverter generator and it runs my 5000 Btu window AC at my cabin just fine MOST of the time. The AC pulls 500-600 watts when running, but startup is quite a bit higher. When I'm running your standard Walmart box fan, 32inch LCD TV, a laptop charger and a few led lights at the same time, I've had the generator overload a few times when the AC has cycled off and then starts back up. That tells me that I'm right at it's surge capacity with the other devices running. In 200+ generator hours of running the AC last summer and early fall, this happened 4-5 times. It just required shutting off the ac and fan, and pushing the reset on the gen, then turning them on one at a time. It seems like most of these comments are based on: A) starting watts from a generator sizing worksheet (where the answer is "no"), or B) from a calculation using only "running watts" and ignoring startup, where the answer is "yes". I'd lean towards an answer from someone who's tried it with the setup you want. As I mentioned, my 1700 running/2000surge inverter works for my 5000btu fine MOST of the time. It's a new AC and moderately efficient, but imagine older ACs will have a higher starting watts, and would kick off mine more frequently if it could start the AC at all.

If they are running side-by-side, the only thing you can here running is the Wen, you can't even tell the Honda is running at all. Answer:	I have both, the 56200i is heaver and slightly larger, it also has a fuel gauge. The 56203i is noticeably quieter and puts out slightly more wattage. You won't be disappointed with either of them.

Question:	Can I run a fridge and a freezer
Answer:	Definitely. I ran my furnace, fridge, heater for the fish tank, a bunch of lights and phone chargers. Just remember to start the generator first, let it warm up some, pull one thing it at a time and you'll be fine.
Question:	What is the decibel noise rating
Answer:	Remember folks that this is a air cooled engine which are notoriously noisy engines by design. The engine does have a large muffler which helps a lot with exhaust noise but this generator has a open cabinet and doesn’t have an enclosed cabinet so all the machinery noise from the engine and generator goes everywhere. Noise is relative to different people. If a rattling noise is what bothers you but low sounds don’t bother you, you might consider a more expensive model that is enclosed. If rattles don’t bother you but low sounds do, then this is a good product for you. Personaly I knew what I was buying. An open generator that is going to make some sort of racket so I made a very nice enclosure and mine produces 65db at 5 feet. All generators of this price that are air cooled and not enclosed make a lot of noise. It’s more of a matter of what you or your neighbors can tolerate.
Question:	if battery goes dead can it be started manually
Answer:	yes, but only if using propane as a fuel source. if using gasoline then the recoil start won't work without a charged battery attached. I have tried it, and Champion customer service confirmed this.

Answer:	definately restricted by the particular wiring in your home to that outlet 15 or 20 amp MAX. Unless your an electircian and know what, when , how, and why, you should not even be thinking about doing this ,and if your were, you would already know what your limits are and if you can do it. SO NO, dont do it!!!

Answer:	It cannot run your entire house. We typically run a full-size freezer, refrigerator, several lights, and our internet router. I have run this generator for up to 48 hours, but most of our outages are in the 8-12 hour duration. I run this unit 2-3 times per year. I run drop cords from the unit to my critical stuff. It starts easily, and runs 8+ hours on a tank of gas under our load. When the power goes out, it takes me about 10 minutes to roll it out, start it, and get everything plugged in. It has never let me down, would definitely purchase again.

Question:	Can you use the pull start because it looks like the metal panel is in the way according to the picture
Answer:	The design is not optimal. The panel is in the way to pull the cord straight out. You pull it at a 90 degree angle, outward toward the handles. Mine starts pretty easily, usually one pull and it's not a hard pull. The cord housing is rounded, so the cord won't fray when pulled at 90 degrees.
Question:	What is the noise level
Answer:	To me, the noise seems low/reasonable. It has a large automotive style muffler (not a small lawn mower type). The generator mechanism itself also makes some noise, but not too loud. Actually, i thought this cheaper generator would be louder so I'm very pleased with the noise level. In fact, everything about this generator works well and seems to be high quality especially for the low price. I've not needed it for an actual outage yet, but I've run several tests through my transfer panel with various load levels for 15-20 mins at a time with perfect operation.
Question:	What type of gas should be used? Or does it even matter
Answer:	Alcohol free if possible. If not add a little Ethynol remover to the gas. Also if this has a fuel shutoff valve you should close the valve and let the engine use all the gas in the carburetor so it won't get all gummed up from the alcohol in the gas. I have a 6500 watt I have been using regularly since 2005 and keep it running great this way.
Question:	Can someone confirm if this (gas only) unit has an automatic choke? I'm seeing no reference to a choke lever/switch on pics or video
Answer:	Yes it’s a choke lever it’s hard to see , but it has sticker pointing it out , This generator is a beast had mine for 5 yrs just used it for first time 8/11/20 had gas in it & everything started up & ran like a champ , had 2 full size fridges , sump pump , injection pump & 65 gallon fish plugged up didn’t budge 👍🏾

Answer:	Should be as long as you do not have any high power demand requirements hooked up like blow dryers, heaters, frying pans, microwaves etc. Just stick to the frig, computers, a few lights and you will be fine. There is a power meter onboard so if you get to the power limit you will know and can remove a few items to stay within limits.

The great thing about inverter generators is that they are perfect for powering sensitive electronics like your laptop and cellphone so there is no need buy additional cabling for that purpose. There is two standard 120V 20A household outlets and two 5V USB ports. Answer:	Posiblemente, pero te dejará con poco margen. El momento clave será al arrancar el compresor del aire. Un aire basicamente tiene ventilador para circular el aire y compresor para enfriar. Los 1800 vatios que brinde este generador equivale a 15 amperes. 2200 equivale más o menos a 18.33 amperes. El problema no son los 10.5 amperesque consume el aire cuando corriendo pero que cuando prende el compresor consume de 2 a 3 veces lo que demandará la unidad tipicamente. Es en el prender el compresor que más probablemente tendrás dificultades. Como el aconsejo, yo en tu caso compraría un generador más potente.

Answer:	peak watts means it can produce that much for a short period but will run long term at 2000. it's like overrevving a car engine. you would not run it at 6000 rpm for very long if you want it to last.

Answer:	It seems that if you overfill the fuel tank, the gas makes it's way into the vent and and then drains thru the hose back into the air cleaner assembly. Not the greatest design, but I drained some fuel from the tank and now the problem is solved.. Thanks for you input anyhow.

Answer:	Yes - as long as the wattage doesn't exceed the rated capacity. We've used ours to run two refrigerators, two fans and our water well without any issues.

Answer:	Think of the running watts as the generator stabilizing its power output & staying level. When you plug another item into it that means it has to do more or output more power for a few seconds it amps up to compensate for the new item plugged in. A quick surge in watts happens & eventually levels out back to the running watts. If it happens to go over the max surge watts too far it'll shut off.

Answer:	hello I have a 3500 w strictly propane and used it during Sandy I poweredy whole house by rigging the board .I actually powered the boiler circulating pump for heat 2 refriges and a freezer besides some lights.I had to juggle appliances once in awile but it ran great .I went through a 100 # propane cylinder it took 2/ 12 hour days and one 8hr day running all those appliances.No prob.We actually ran tje washer once during that week cause some people stayed with us

Answer:	Having used quite a few propane heaters,generators,and torches(large ones) I can safely say the best way to stop the frost is to reduce the pressure on the tank. The easiest, simplest safest way to do that is to get a higher volume tank. If a 20lb tank is frosting badly you are drawing it to quickly,try a 40lb or better even a 100lb tank. Your frosting problem will go away.

Answer:	Yes 2 handles, I'm 5' tall and I can move it.

Question:	Does this unit have an low oil indicator and will it shut itself off if the oil is low
Answer:	It does not have a low oil indicator, but it has a low oil shut off. You should check the oil level every time you start it up.
Question:	Will it run on pump gas. Here in CA all gas has ethanol
Answer:	A little tip... When you're finished using it, shut off the fuel petcock while it's running so all the fuel in the carburetor is consumed. Ethanol fuel sitting in a carburetor greatly shortens its service live.

Question:	Is this compatible with my gsc3500d35bb
Answer:	A sink aerator reduces the flow tremendously. I use the coupling device connected to a qwik-connect hose coupling off my balcony to run my pressure washer on the sidewalks, etc. Without the garden hose attached, the flow out of the tap is very strong. It fills my teapot in seconds. The kids must get used to such a strong flow. Splitting the flow in 2 might help but that would be too many attachments onto your faucet.
Question:	Does it aerate the water during normal sink used without dishwasher
Answer:	If the washer uses a garden type hose it should work. I put it on a bath tub facet and hooked it to a hose for a shower.
Question:	What threads do the internal threads mate up to
Answer:	When you unscrew the head on your pull out facet, you will discover standard 1/2" "iron pipe" or National Pipe Threads (NPT) on the female fitting that's on the hose. OK, so IF you had a 1/2 inch small snap fitting adapter, you could just screw it into the female fitting, and "VIOLA", you're in business It should be EASY to find one of these, but I'm having HELL finding one... I found one at Home Depot online, but it's been discontinued. I've done several web searches to no avail. I guess I'll continue the search, as there's nothing-else to be done, except to enter "adapter hell" to get the appropriate adapter to make it work.
