Question:	Does it automatically shut off when the water tank is empty
Answer:	the tank top part you can run through a dishwasher easily but the bottom part is really difficult to clean even by hand since you can’t separate any part of it and the grooves and indents are too narrow to get most scrubbers or sponges in. It’s not too bad but it’s not necessarily easy
Question:	Does this humidifier easily grows mildew? Will it leave scale on the base of the tank
Answer:	Yes, visible cool mist but it does not make things wet/moldy. It is a very good unit.
Question:	How often and how do you refill the water tank
Answer:	With both hands, lift the water tank off the base and flip over to avoid water from dripping from bottom of tank. Twist open the valve and fill with water. Reattach valve to water tank and reposition water tank onto the base with the water level window on the right side of the water tank. Optional: Decorative cover/nozzle is removable to gain access to the handle to lift tank off the base with one hand. However, please make sure to re-attach decorative cover/nozzle to top of water tank. And note that lifting the tank this way may cause some water to drip so it is better to just use both hands and flip the tank upside down.

Answer:	All humidifiers create "White dust" This is caused by the water vapor drying and leaving mineral deposits. Use distilled or RO/DI water to mitigate this. If using it again, distilled water ONLY for you. This really is a great humidifier however, the mist is cool and fine - the hygrometer is accurate and it remains moist in there. Just gotta ensure you use the correct water!
