Answer:	The only way to make sure a thermometer is accurate is to calibrate it. This is done by boiling water and using the thermometer to test the water. If the thing reads 121 degrees, it is accurate. If not, then it needs to be calibrated...that is, the dial needs to be rotated in relation to the dial so it reads 212 degrees. From what I see, most dial type oven thermometers are no longer manufactered with a small nut on the back to allow calibration. Find an old one at a yeard sale and you might be able to.

Question:	When fridge/freezer goes out of temp setting does alarm keep sounding until acknowledged
Answer:	When the alarm goes off, it gets annoying after awhile, so we have pressed the alarm button within 5 minutes to turn it off. I'm pretty sure it will sound until the temperature has returned within the set range or is turned off. Just be sure to press the alarm button again when the temperature is within the range you set, to reactivate the alarm mode.
Question:	What is the wireless range on this item
Answer:	I have mine set about 40 and 50 ft from receiver, both of which are transmitting through one exterior wall and 1 or 2 interior framed walls, with the receiver near mid point, and no problems after a couple of months. As others stated, the update is not immediate, so give it a while for the initial reading. Also, if you move the sensors, I found it helpful to take the batteries out of everything and start again - only takes a couple of minutes and gives some peace of mind. I think without heavily insulated walls, the range is probably more but have no proof.

Each time you replace the battery in ANY part of the system you need to perform the operation of "pairing" over again!!!Steps:1) Take all three parts, Display and both sensors and go away from the "other" sensors.2) Put fresh a battery in the Display and watch for NO Updates, takes a few moments to verify.3) Put a battery in each the sensors and watch for the "First" update to be correct.4) Leave these batteries in and walk back to the location needed.Now the new set will have a unique code and not read the "other" sensors values.The code is 32,000 values so yoiu can have MANY of these in the same place.NOTE: if you want a "copy" to be seen by Two Displays just PAIR both at the same place and time. Question:	Rather than a cell phone, will this work with a Verizon "home" phone
Answer:	The Temp Stick will work with any mobile smart phone or tablet device that is capable of downloading and operating the Temp Stick App. I am not aware of any wired home phones that support wireless style "Apps". Mike Poole
Question:	So I understand, you purchase a "stick" for $149 - adding multiple "sticks" is he same flat fee of almost $150 - and they all communicate to same app
Answer:	Yes, multiple Temp Sticks can be managed through the same app. In my case, I have one Temp Stick in my Connecticut house, and another Temp Stick in my Florida home. Both report and are managed through my iPhone app.

Answer:	I have been enjoying the temp stick and have recommended it to many people. (I own an HVAC company.) But I have run into an issue that no one can seem to help me out with... I have been running 10 temp sticks on my app with ZERO issues... I have now attempted to add an 11th and 12th device and "BATTERY 0% - REPLACE BATTERY" is now shown in app for BOTH. This leads me to believe that an app is LIMITED to 10 devices. I have multiple devices in stock and have now tried 5 different devices. (All with same result) I then took it a step further and removed an existing device and "POOF" the device that was number 11 suddenly WORKS. (Battery 100%) I then attempted to re-install device 10 that was removed and "POOF" BATTERY 0% - REPLACE BATTERY. This proves to me that it is NOT the device but is in fact a LIMIT of 10 devices which can be monitored. Why then, does the temp stick website claim you can monitor UNLIMITED devices??! This is going to affect my recommendations drastically. NOT HAPPY.

Question:	Mine is reading Lo, what is that temp
Answer:	Although it is rated to -58F this reading appears at about -4F. False advertising.

Answer:	Yes
Question:	What does 'lo' mean? I changed batteries and it still says Lo
Answer:	It means temperature too low to read. The specification cited for this unit is that it will read down to -58F, but as several have noted, below about -4F it reads "Lo" instead. False advertising. If you're getting that indication at room temperature, then something is wrong with the unit.
