Answer:	Because of the rotary design of a spiralizer, the cuts will always be long and rounded. If you'd like to make shorter ribbons, you can follow the directions in the guide. Make single cuts with a knife along the length of the vegetable, stopping at the center, then spiralize as usual. This will result in smaller cuts. For instance, one cut down the length of a cucumber and then spiralizing with the flat ribbon blade would result in single rounds of cucumber. A few cuts like this would result in elbows or half moons. Hope this helps!
