Answer:	The cutout is 9-3/8" hole diameter. Mounting depth: 3-1/4". Anytime you need info like this you can go to crutchfield for the answer. But I have these on my patio and this is the hole size you will need.

Question:	Whats the ideal screws to use to hang on a concrete wall
Answer:	I didn’t wall mount my speaker it’s sitting in a home entertainment cabinet. To wall mount in concrete you will need to drill holes in the concrete using a masonry drill bit the recommended size for the concrete wall anchors you will be using, you will put the screws into the anchors. Make sure the head of the screw will fit through the mounting hole on back of speaker. Mounting hardware kits (screws, anchors and drill bits ) are available at your Local hardware store. Of course you will need a drill, screwdriver and hammer (to use in inserting the wall anchor)

Answer:	I think completely compatible. I use it for a center speaker. It is really nice.

Answer:	90% of the voices are coming out of the center channel, you should not notice a difference, but personally, I would stay with Martin Logan's center channel and stick with their quality.
Question:	Every speaker brand strives to be neutral, so why should there be tonal mismatches? Why must I buy a center of the same brand
Answer:	In my experience most speakers have their own tonal quality however that does not mean speakers from different manufacturers or even different models by the same manufacturer will not sound good together. I use my Polk S35 center channel speaker with four Bose 301 series speakers and a Polk PSW505 subwoofer to make up my home theater system. They sound great together and much better than it did with my original Bose center channel.

Question:	How do these speakers do for a stereo? Is there enough bass or does it require a sub woofer? Looking for speakers for a dance studio
Answer:	Hi Tara,These are very nice speakers, but because of the size/design, these are more of a Satellite speaker with decent midbass and highs. They image nicely- great for stereo reproduction, however they don't produce any really low frequencies. For a dance studio, you will definitely need a powered sub with these speakers. How large/power level for the powered sub depends on 3 things: size of room, loudness required, and room acoustics.
Question:	can they be used as L/R front speaker in 7.1 with TL2 being satellite
Answer:	Ideally all front speakers, Left, Center, Right should be the same for optimal performance. Using the OWM3 as left/right main would work, and probably sound OK. I disagree with a previous comment on deficient bass response, as the very low frequencies would be handled by the sub/LFE channel with a powered sub. I would select "small speakers" on your 7.1 reciever for the front speakers when setting up your system- this will send all lower frequencies(>120hz) to the sub channel.

Answer:	There is no RMS for speakers. RMS stands for root mean squared which is a standard that is used to measure the true power output of an amplifier. The power rating that they give speakers is utter nonsense!! Totally meaningless.... What does matter is POWER!!! Always buy an amplifier that puts out as many watts as you can afford and then add another 100 watts for good measure. Too much power can never damage your speakers. It will only make them sound WAY better. Now, on the other hand, trying to drive these speakers with a 20 watt amp and you will make both of them very expensive conversation topics. Yes..you will absolutely ruin your speakers by over driving your amplifier. Too much power? IMO ,there's no such thing.

Question:	Why are there two sets of wire inputs on the back of the speaker

Question:	does anyone know why it has 2 sets of wire inlets on each speaker? Normally it's one set black and red
Answer:	The 2 sets of speaker 5 way binding posts are for bi-wires or bi amps if you remove the bridges so you can by-pass the speaker cross-over. It's a waste of time and money since you will need an external cross-over. I wouldn't bother with it at this price point. They are as good as you can get for the price.
Question:	Why do these have a set of two connections at the back? Is it for two audio sources
Answer:	Oh my gosh please disregard any of the stupid people who said its benefits are debatable, or that it helps midrange. Those people shouldn’t answer questions about things they obviously know nothing about. I’m reporting those answers as not only wrong but intentionally ignorant. The truth is most people have their front 2 mains wired to the receiver. Today’s receivers are 7.1 and more 9.2.4 or 11.2.whatever. However most users choose not to wire speakers to the extra surround and Atmos channels. 5.1 being fine. So in addition to wiring the entire speaker to just the front Left and Right, you can remove the metal connecting both sets of posts. Leave the original speakers wires. Now go into your receivers set up menu and go to speaker set up. Most receivers have a selector for if you’re using the front-above speaker option. If not, now you can run a 2nd speaker wire to both speaker and connect to the 2 unused posts. The immediate benefit is that instead of only 2 of the amp’s 100w channels pushing the whole Left and Right, you now have 4 of the amp’s 100w channels pushing your speakers. Each speaker gets 200w.
Question:	Is there a "practical"reason for these speakers to have so many individual speakers inside them
Answer:	Yes. Oversimplifying but hopefully still useful: There's an ugly trade-off between bass quantity and quality. Larger drivers have more surface area (volume really, as a speaker is effectively an irregularly-shaped piston for pushing and pulling air). More surface area means more bass. But it also means more inertia and typically sloppy or booming (mid-)bass lacking in detail or transient response ("edges"). Smaller drivers respond faster and create tighter, punchier, more accurate (mid-)bass because it can respond faster, but less low bass due to the reduced surface area. Using multiple smaller drivers is an attempt to retain the tight and accurate mid-bass but also team the drivers up to move enough air to extend the bass down low. It's an attempt to keep the best attributes of both approaches. However, real bass-heads might still want a little more low bass. Fortunately, really low bass (say 20-60 Hz) isn't particularly critical and you can get away with a massive woofer like 12" or even 15". For this, a subwoofer is perfect. If you add a subwoofer to a speaker like this, be sure to cross it over well below 100 Hz, as you paid for bass accuracy and you wouldn't want to degrade it by too much overlap. Think of the subwoofer as turning your 3 way speakers into 4 way speakers. You don't want much overlap. As with any free audio advice, take nobody's word for anything and experiment for yourself. Every room and every ear is different, so I might be all wet. That said, there' s the rationale, in a nutshell.

Question:	All I hear from sub is a low growly static type sound. Anyone else have this issue
Answer:	My set up is 4ohm cerwin vega front speakers and 8ohm center and surround. Denon reps said to keep at 8ohms because going lower will degrade the quality of the sound. However, big however. My unit has a good heat handling system and a safety cutoff in case the 4ohms overpower the units capability. My Denon has shutdown on two of my bluerays when the low frequency sounds are too loud and constant. Speakers lower than 8ohms produces more heat, so you need good ventilation. if system is set at 8ohms. I've added a small external fan in case it produces too much heat. But normally, my unit stays pretty cool at 8ohms. My front speakers at three way so a lot of the sound comes out of the mid-range unless the frequency is low. The unit has to be a good unit. I recommend that you do some research and see how much power your AVR runs at. Answer:	Hello... When matching speakers you want to get the specs close. Klipsch F-20, very nice speaker by the way. Frequency Response 38Hz-23KHz ± 3dB SENSITIVITY: 95.5dB @ 2.83V / 1m Polk Audio CS10 Center Frequency Response 53Hz-25kHz SENSITIVITY 91 dB The Klipsch will be a little louder then the Polk with a little wider frequency response. Your Yamaha receiver can adjust the center channels out put to blend in the center a little more so you can hear it. Also you want to look at the RMS watts. Polk is 125watts RMS. Klipsch is only 100watts RMS. Yamaha RX-V375 AV is 100watts per channel, 70watts RMS x 2 channel. So the out come, you should be fine. your mids and highs will be better with the Klipsch towers. You will have a little more lows from the Polk, but that could make the vocals from the center channel sound more natural. Also your receiver can adjust if you use the microphone to self adjust instead of doing it by ear. It will be fine.. Should sound good and I think you would be happy..

Question:	can I paint it with my wall color
Answer:	This is a good question to ask Polk direct. When you receive this system out of the box, It's already program from the factory to react within it'self. In the instruction that comes with the system it does mention these codes can be change. Be safe and ask the pro's who design the system.
Question:	I need them for a concrete wall. is their any problem ? what's the depth of the hole I need to make
Answer:	I would think so, go to the Polk website and contact them.
Question:	Do you need a subwoofer for these speakers? Or do they sound ok without it
Answer:	After struggling and struggling with this same feature (I live in a college town. The college kids were using the unsecured hotspot created by the magnifi to make wifi telephone calls, thus blocking my phone and using up all my router bandwidth ) I found a solution. I unplugged the magnifi, put it in a box, and threw it in the town dump. I then went out and bought a new sound bar that cost 1/2 as much as the Polk that could only be updated when I specifically wanted to update it. I found this to be the perfect solution to a problem the polk WILL NOT fix, WILL NOT assist the customer when asked for help either thru their customer support or their technical support. Now I go around telling anyone who will listen the absolute truth about the lack of support I got from polk. You can do this also.

Question:	Is there a receiver I can get that will work with this system
Answer:	I think you have many challenges with installing the Polk RC65i into a concrete wall. Overall dimensions (w x h x d) are 8 5/8" x 12 1/6" x 2 7/8". The RC65i requires a 1/2" or 5/8" drywall to mount effectively. If you have drywall over the top of your concrete wall, then this should work (although running the speaker wiring presents its own challenge). The opening in the concrete wall will be larger than the drywall (yet another challenge). I think I would look at a excellent Polk mini-speaker and surface mount that speaker versus tackling the "in ceiling speaker in a concrete wall challenge". But - if you make it work, post your solution to the community as I'm sure they would appreciate the how-to knowledge.
Question:	Polk support, you typically answer: Many households use multiple device frequencies ..could your wireless surrounds be unstable accordingly
Answer:	I have a pair of these in a wall which are zone 2 speakers for a receiver which does music only and no subwoofer is possible (most receivers only have a sub input for zone 1). I have to say it sounds damn good, though I did place them up near the ceiling and close to walls to optimise the bass. So in this this situation you do not need a sub. If they are part of a home theatre setup then I'd recommend a sub (as I would with any speaker that is not floor standing capable to reaching some really low frequencies).
Question:	Will these work with a vizeo soundbar useing Bluetooth
Answer:	PDF spec sheet indicates 2 3/8 " needed assuming mounted to 1/2" drywall
Question:	How do you do a factory hard reset
Answer:	I saw this, and it turned out to be the mi box close to the sub interfering with it. I moved the sub and the static noise went away.
