Answer:	I'd say it depends on the size and walking/jumping ability of your pet. Each step is 6 inches tall at the front and slopes up. Each step is 8.5 to 9 inches deep. The whole setup is 30.5 inches tall, to the top edge. So if your bed is 36 to 37 inches tall, and your dog can walk up these steps, it should be great. If the bed is much taller than that, or if he can't walk up the steps, he'll have to jump up them and onto the bed. That might be an issue, as the other respondent said. My 15 pound cat with 2 bad legs can walk up these. Not knowing your dog, or the height of your bed, that's as much as I can help with.

Answer:	More is more in this case, but if you don't need a ginger grater, you can get away with less. The same model is available at wholesalers who import Chinese goods, but without the ginger grater. I used the ginger grater once. I use all of the blades. This unit is very easy to use. You can't hurt yourself with any of them and you figure out which works best for you. I actually prefer slicing chocolate with a knife because more is done more quickly that way, but for general grating use, outside of food processing, they're both good products. Decide based upon whether or not you will ever grate ginger.

If you want the grater to last a long time, wash it by hand, preferably immediately after use.
