Answer:	Don't know if either piece is BPA free, but handle doesn't come in contact with food and I use a knife to cut the pineapple rings into pieces and tossed the plastic ring.

Answer:	Its a "depth guide" so you wont pierce the bottom.. basically you measure the pineapple first on the sidd and determine where you stop.

Answer:	I assume it should help but have found that this pineapple slicer is very poorly designed and didn't work for me. It required so much strength to penetrate the pineapple that I could not operate it. Also, being plastic, the blade was too thick and not sharp enough to cut. It mashed the pineapple rather than slice. I gave it to my daughter but she has not yet let me know how it worked for her. I cannot recommend the slicer and the ratcheting did not seem to help.

Answer:	To start with, I could not get this splitter to even plug into the lightning port on my iPhone 8. It wouldn't fit because it was poorly made. I returned it. That said, I don't think you could use a microphone because one side of the splitter is for power in and the other would be considered an Aux out or send ( for headphones ) That's my best guess anyway.

Answer:	I returned this item because the lightning jack did not fit the spolit ports, but if it had fit, the answer is no. You cannot charge two things at the same time nor can you listen to two things at the same time. This is typical of all splitters. The intention is to allow you to listen while charging and they work well for that. Specically, you can listen while charging the iPad, and then, at a different time, listen while charging the Apple Pencil.
