Answer:	I have tried Many cheeses with it... It seems to depend, but generally the rule is regular and hard melt great on it. Soft cheese doesn't seem to melt that well at all....

Answer:	Yes, you can remove the handle quickly and easily by squeezing both sides with one hand. The handle does fold over the tray as well so that this item is compact. I also have the portable one that heats cheese with the tea lights. Awesome product.

Operation:



1. Clean the cheese rind by gently scraping.

2. Place the cheese onto the holder.

3. Clamp the cheese in position.

4. Turn the cheese upward to the heater(2cm distance will be better). Then switch on the machine.

5. Turn the cheese holder around the spindle.

6. Lift the cheese holder into an angled position and scrape the surface of the cheese off to the plate with the raclette knife.

Answer:	It is fairly quick but I suggest starting the warm up 15-20 minutes before you need it. If you use this in a restaurant I believe you will need to have someone manning it at all times.
