Answer:	I live in Georgia but I leave mine out all year long. I have a large clay pot that we layed down that we placed the motor inside to keep it from the elements. The outside seems to be waterproof but we didn't want to take any chances. I purchased it in June 2016.

Question:	Good day, i am looking for a fibrous poly product to utilize as a filter for iron. i have had success with this in the philippines. any suggestions
Answer:	Our Pond filter pad is made of 100% polyester and will not remove iron only floating debris from the water. - Lexi M at Aquatic Experts
Question:	My koi filter tank is 36” diameter. Anywhere I could find this size
Answer:	There are rolls that you can cut to size. So, just make sure you get a larger size than you need. You can also call a nursery or pond place. Aquascape sells pond products but they are pricy but may have your size.
Question:	Would this work for a custom fit air filter to keep dust out of a machines computer cooling air intake
Answer:	I really do not know if this would work.
Question:	Is the filter safe for saltwater reef tanks
Answer:	We typically use our Koi Filter Pad in ponds and have not personally used this pad in reef tanks.
