Answer:	This item does not have replacement batteries. You can purchase a new a/c adaptor plug from store that sells electronics' Wine Enthusiast does not carry parts for this item however.

Answer:	Yes, you can. Mine wobbles a bit also, so I unplug it and store the base sometimes and just keep the opener in my bar area. I have also placed the unit on the charger with the corkscrew in different positions and it seems to wobble or blink less often when charging.

Answer:	Ours is a couple of years old but the blue light is only lit when operating which I assume saves the battery. Ours is stable in its base but frankly because of the height of the cabinet we generally have it out of the base unless we need to charge it. I would also think the separate charger would make the opener lighter and easier to use. We continue to be very happy with ours. JB

It will never recharge without the charging cord. The dock is actually the foil cutter. and the stand in one piece. The charger is separate.so you should have received both.

Answer:	I have no clue where it's manufacture, the wine opener works very well but the foil doesn't work at all. You'll need to buy a separate foil cutter, that's something I need to buy, as of now I cut the foil with a knife and peel the foil off the bottle.

Answer:	Battery is internal/build in and its not changeable. Not an AAA or AA battery required. Its build in and charged only.

Answer:	I own one and it works perfectly. I sent out a number of them as gifts, asked Amazon to gift wrap it, and to put a gift card in the box. I have no idea what it looks like, but the thank you's from the recipients are all positive!

Answer:	One comment indicated that this wine opener had a built-in rechargeable battery...another comment indicated that this unit cannot be disassembled. This unit cannot be be disassembled and the typical battery life is as stated. I purchased mine December 31 of 2016 and as of October 29 of 2019 it opened (barely) it's last bottle of wine. Will be looking for another brand that might last a little longer, however this was a great opener for the time I had it.

Answer:	Nope. I received this as a gift. It worked for about 6 months, to open about 13-15 bottles, then didn't have enough energy to pull out a cork. I kept the opener on the charger all the time. It seemed to me that the rechargeable battery wasn't working, not holding a charge. I called the manufacturer to see if I would be able to purchase a new rechargeable battery, but I was told No, the battery cannot be replaced. Wine Enthusiast would not stand by this product. I would NOT recommend this product.

Answer:	No pumping required. Invert the device and place on top of the accompanying cork and it automatically evacuates the air creating the vacumn.
