Answer:	I don't see why you couldn't machine wash these gloves. The gloves are mostly silicone, except for the cuff and the lining which are fabric. I've had these gloves for a month or so. So far, I've been cleaning them by just scrubbing the silicone glove part in the sink, then letting them air dry. After a while when they get really dirty, I'll probably toss them in the washer.

When water dried out and rice on top is still soaky, re-shovel the rice, leave the lid on for 10-15 mins. Ready to serve.Don't be afraid to open the lid to check and add water if some rice is still uncooked.Iwachu is better than other casted iron pot for rice cooking, because of the rim that catches water boiled over.
